The staff here is fantastic. Helpful, friendly—such a welcome to come “home” to when getting back after a day in the busy city. Our room (I believe it was a deluxe double) was clean, although dated, and the furniture, paint and wallpaper has seen better days. The bed was very comfortable, and our room at the back was quiet, so we had a great night’s sleep. But back to the staff—when they are that good, when the bed is good, it’s a welcome experience. That’s why I give four stars.

We went this hotel for only afternoon tea. We had our afternoon tea in the reception instead of tea room because of the staff meeting. The cakes and scones were tasty but sandwiches were dry.When we mentioned that we didn't eat sandwiches with pork meat they served the extra cucumber sandwiches. It was the chepeast option.They could serve sandwiches with salmon instead of cucumber.

Excellent stay and location in the heart of London. It was just a quick walk from Marble Arch and Oxford Street. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was well equipped with all you need like iron, hair dryer, coffee/tea/water, etc. It felt like a home away from home. I will definitely stay here again

I cannot speak for the rest of the hotel but my room was the size of a walk in closet, the furniture and decor was very dated and worn, and the walls/carpet dingy and shabby-looking. There is hardly room to turn around. The bathroom is in the same condition. This 2.5 stars at best, and is saved only by its location. Not recommended.

We had an amazing stay in London. Mostly due to this hotel. They were very accomidateing to my special needs(on crutches) on thy fly at check-in. The staff is super friendly and welcoming-not sure where all the few negative feedsbacks came from. We will stay again and we also will recommend to friends and family.
