The hotel is in a good location, a 2-minute walk from the British Museum. The room is big enough, but also old enough. There is also a kitchenette with microwave in the room
We left a book behind, but unfortunately the hotel said it couldn't be found. That's the kid's new book.

Very convenient for central London attractions with Holborn station 10 minutes walk and plenty of bus routes as well. Covent Garden is walking distance about 20 minutes with theatre land and loads to see and do. Basic hotel needs a bit of TLC but clean, friendly staff,leave bags before check in ,good continental breakfast or pay £5 extra for fry up. Not bad for the price in central London.

Less good stay. Slow and cumbersome at check-in. Got a room in a basement which was incredibly cold, even with full heat on the radiators. Breakfast was complete chaos. No tables available, no coffee cups. Had to ask for bread three times. Disappointing this.

The room was a lovely size for central London but it was tired with peeling paint and wallpaper, fraying on the bedstead, the bath facility was almost impossible to use without being a contortionist, incomplete painting on the bathroom door frame etc. The reception staff didn’t really talk to me nicely and were mostly not there. I had to wait for them to attend.
