I stayed here for one night mid-week on a recent visit to London. The guy on reception was very welcoming & efficient. My room was comfortable with all the amenities you would expect. Very comfy bed, generous coffee, milks etc & a great ensuite bathroom. Everything was spotless. My room overlooked a pleasant square & gardens. Really can't recommend this hotel enough! Will certainly stay there again on my next visit as it's extremely affordable & in a great part of London just down the road from Earls Court tube & good bus links. Loads of pubs, cafes, food shops etc nearby too.

Basic no frills hotel a few minutes walk from Earls Court tube station.Yes it’s a bit dated . Booked 6 nights it was peaceful and quiet. Shared shower was mostly free when I needed to use it ; water pressure and temperature was good . Just be careful with your ROOM CARD KEY , if near your mobile phone it will DEACTIVATE it leaving you locked out of your room and reception is not 24 hours . For the off peak price I paid the room was good value and I would book again.

Mattresses from a distant era, Toilet cleanliness visually questionable. Clogged shower and windows not even cleaned. Traces of dirt on the furniture would come off with a wipe of a wet cloth… fortunately the clean sheets and the impeccably white towels phew! Otherwise ideal location for a fair price a few steps from the metro.

I booked this hotel because of the location and, above all, guided by the rating it had on some hotel reservation website, so I expected to find a medium-type hotel but what I found was a low or very low-type establishment. If I had traveled with a partner or family I would have left immediately after seeing the room. The first impression is negative since you find an unpleasant smell, a mixture of tobacco and humidity, apart from the decoration that someone may or may not like. The room is located in the basement or “basement” as they say there, I had requested one on the upper floors, but they did not even respond to me confirming or not confirming that request. You have to go down some steep stairs carrying all your luggage. As the smell goes down it becomes more unpleasant. At the end I find a narrow hallway with several doors, one is to the shared bathroom (there are rooms that do not have their own shower), another door is to the toilet (the rooms do not have their own toilet) and at the end of the hallway, my room. I open and I find a hallway, the room is “L” shaped, to the left I see a small sink and a shower plate with a curtain (they look clean…) and only a medium-sized towel, and to the right of the hallway the area where There is the bed and a place to hang clothes with a drawer below. The room is tiny, there is no table/desk or nightstand (there is like a stool that acts as a table). Yes, there is a television, medium-sized but new without a remote control (I couldn't ask for it at reception because it was already closed...). The bed is narrow, 70/80 centimeters and with a very old mattress where the springs are marked. The two pillows, sheet and duvet appear clean. But that smell from the entrance and the hallway continues in the room. When I open the window I find a high wall and two doors where there are machines that make a lot of noise continuously. I had a hard time sleeping that night, because in addition to the noise of the machines, I could hear footsteps from the upper floor (I don't know if it was a room or a hallway). The “curtain” it has is old and insufficient to cover the light (I didn't worry about privacy issues given the “views” I had). When I needed to go to the toilet, having to go outside the room, there was no paper, but since the reception was closed I couldn't ask for it. The cabin is small, although at least it is clean... The heating works well, the hot water too but the Wi-Fi that they say they have does not exist. In short, the only positive thing is the location, close to a metro station, shops and supermarkets and restaurants. The experience has been totally negative, with regrettable facilities. It is not recommended at all and it catches my attention to see positive reviews of this establishment (I wonder if they are all real...). DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL, it does not meet the minimum conditions of a hotel or two

The room was comfortable, and more spacious than I expected it to be. Check in was an easy process and the staff were friendly. We discovered dirty cutlery in a drawer from a previous guest and a half-eaten cookie under the bed, so perhaps housekeeping could have done a slightly more thorough job of turning over the room, but other than that the space was clean, the decor cheerful and the amenities as advertised. The bathroom was also larger than I expected, especially for Zone 3 London! The location is superb - around the corner from Earls Court Underground and lots of shops and bus stops. Would definitely book again!

I am a frequent traveller to hotels in London and this is in my top 3 worst places to stay. No one at reception (stuck in traffic apparently), so the cleaner let us in. When the receptionist arrived he had no clue about our booking. I had to explain everything. Eventually he found it on 'the system'. We were then allocated a downsized room with shared toilet and bathroom. I brought my wife so this was a non-negotiable and why we paid for the 'deluxe double bedroom'. There was no toilet roll in two of the bathrooms. Third time lucky I found some! Room was clean and the area was great. Book at your own risk.

Cancelled room 15 minutes before check in and offered no help whatsoever. Unfriendly and unprofessional. *******/Manor Hotel, avoid at all cost.

Smelly. Carpet is dirty. Room poorly kept. Constant leakage at the toilet. No hand and face towel. Terrible mattress and pillow. No front office service, basically unmanned. Hairdryer does not work. Minimal space in the room, which barely hold a bed. Too expensive for the visitors unlit y if the property and absence of service. It should not be sold by *******.

As you can see from the reviews already given, this "doss house" is nowhere near worth the money and should be closed for renovations immediately! Unfortunately, the price charged for London and the surrounding area is below average and therefore unsuspecting tourists will continue to stay there and nothing will change here. The location can't be beat (4 minutes from Earls Court Station and right in the middle of the action. Restaurants, shops and bus stations are all in the immediate vicinity. Most rooms only have a sink and the toilets and bathrooms are on top the floors. Everything here is full of mold and rust. The rooms smell extremely of urine and other excrement. The mattresses are uncomfortable and the room furnishings leave a lot to be desired. The walls are very thin and we were unlucky enough to have a very noisy floor It was loud all night and some rooms were wide open as there was no air conditioning. Since the rooms always have to be paid for in advance, you never have a chance to cancel the room once you have seen it. There is no money back and when you leave, the room is rented out again immediately. Plan your London trip well in advance and spend a little more so that something like this doesn't ruin your stay.
