Comfort Inn Victoria

A complete disaster! This is how I would sum up the experience at this hotel. It was the fourth time we went there and the first post-pandemic, and the service has absolutely decreased in these years, both customer service and breakfast and room conditions. The only really good thing was the girl at the reception (very nice and friendly) on the first and last day, the rest was absolutely negative. I go in parts. This time I booked the hotel through TRIP.COM 3 months in advance and, when we arrived, I was convinced that they were penalizing us for having booked the room through this excellent travel website and so on. They gave us a room in the basement (floor -1), dark and small. After protesting, they gave us another one on the ground floor with the noise of the boilers next door. I protested and the next day they gave me a room again on the same ground floor and I asked why not on the first, second or third floor after I had booked the room. In the 2 rooms there was damp on the ceiling, stains on the carpet, the shower handle that was barely kept on its base, lights that did not turn on, a toilet that barely worked with insulating tape on a broken part, etc. (I attach photos ). The breakfast was very poor and the service was terrible. We had been 3 times and this 3-star hotel has lowered its quality in every way. We will not return again. A complete disaster! Simple but very comfortable accommodation. Exquisite attention. If I return to London I will repeat accommodation

For the price it is ok, the basic breakfast without any variation

the rooms are a bit small.
