I originally stayed for 2 nights from the 21st to the 23rd, in room 614, which was okay. But I was out of London for 3 nights. This hotel can temporarily store my luggage, so I stayed there on the night of the 26th. When we picked up our luggage, the staff knew that we had 2 large and 2 small suitcases, so we were assigned room 007 in the basement. The room was small and old and dirty. There were hairs on the bed covers and pillowcases from previous hands. We could only open one box at a time. Lay it flat and open it at a 90-degree angle at the door.
Fortunately, I only stayed for one night ($1173), and the price at the Hilton was 155 yuan ($1018) cheaper per night. I immediately moved to the Hilton for another 3 nights on the morning of the 27th. I will never stay in this hotel again. I have to live with the transportation when I come to London. A convenient hotel, but it also needs to be clean and sanitary, which is really not the case.

The location improves the value for money, but the building is very old and the room is right next to the lift. You can clearly hear other people waiting for the lift or talking in the aisle. The wooden floor in the room is very old and the carpet is definitely not clean. It squeaks when you move around. The bed, quilt and pillows are not clean because we felt itchy all over our bodies even though we were wearing long-sleeved shirts and trousers. The window is broken and cannot be fully closed or opened any further. There is always a 5cm gap. London hotels are generally old, so only consider this place if you have no other choice.

Hotel gave two guests keys to our room, who entered at 2am while we were asleep. All because the hotel messed up both of our bookings. No refund or compensation given either. We were on the basement floor. You can hear rats scuttling behind the walls. Desk was unmanned a lot at night, right next to Paddington station. Anyone can walk straight in and use the lift. This is a very unsafe hotel. Please avoid it.
