Very old hotel with a victorian a**osphere. The location is good and the service is okay. But the room is really small, similar to a hotel in Hong Kong.

We think of the Chesterfield as our home away from home. We’ve been going to the hotel for years. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I would like to commend in particular Jake, Nicole, Martina, Vilala Joseph, Mustafi, Gyorgy, Lorus, and all of our friends that serve us breakfast.

We stayed at the Chesterfield over Easter. It was so festive and the people who worked there (especially Mustafa and Josef) were friendly and welcoming. I left a very special silk blouse in the wardrobe and emailed the manager. He promptly sent it back to me in Sweden! Very impressed and will stay there again and again!!

Excellent quality rooms, staff and services on quiet street in Mayfair. Very close to lots of restaurants, Tube stations and must-see sites for 1st time visitors to London. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was outstanding. Room was reasonable size, well-furnished and very clean. Quick, informative responses to pre-visit email messages that helped planning our itinerary. Highly recommend the Chesterfield.

We went for the afternoon tea for my daughters 12th birthday. Part of the fun of course is the three tiers of food but sadly they served each person a plate with all the bits on so the magic was gone but also it’s a real pain to actually cut a scone when you’ve no room. There’s no picking what you fancy and sadly the girls didn’t actually care for most of the food. They love an afternoon tea, usually a real treat but this was very under par. Absolutely not worth £201.25 for two children and one adult.

The Chesterfield is in a nice and quiet part of Mayfair. Very easy to get around everywhere. The staff and service were impeccable. It is a more historic hotel so the rooms are a bit dated but the bathroom was fantastic. I had a large tub and even heated floors. A few small complaints, the 2nd lift was broken during my stay so the wait time when it was busy was quite long. However it was being repaired when I departed. Also my room had an intermittent noise which I wasn’t sure what it was but sounded like maybe the furnace reverberating in the stairwell as I was at the end of the corridor. As a result, I did have to sleep with earplugs but still slept ok. My friend had a room more in the center of the corridor and did not experience the same noise. Please note - the bar is closed for refurbishment but the library was a lovely area to get drinks or a snack.

Amazing service! From the moment we walked in the staff was incredible. Perfect location. Easy to jump on tube. 10 mini walk to Buckingham palace. Easy walk or tube to Wes**inster area. We loved our stay. We will definitely return. Ask Lorius to book your dinner reservations. He knows his stuff. He sent us to the best Indian restaurant right around the corner for an incredible dinner.
