Wonderful gem. They have a mildew issue on one end of the hotel. They switched my room promptly. And the service was excellent. Beautiful appointment in the room. They do add 15 pounds service charge daily to your bill (optional). A bit weird to not tell people upfront. Because the staff was nice and space very pleasant I paid it. Better to build it in to the price? Or tell one upfront. Would highly recommend and visit again.

For our 20th Anniversary we stayed for two nights with our best man my husband brother and his wife and also my best friend and her husband . We loved our stay we felt like royalty and treated like kings and queens bedrooms lovely fabric instead of wallpaper bed heavenly a lovely nights sleep lovely card from the team and wonderful sweet treats the bar is outstanding a real treat for the eye and brilliant service overall our break was worth every penny and I wouldn’t hesitate to return

Delightful! I wish I’d had time to enjoy the restaurants and bar. Service was amazing! Room comfortable and clean and lots of little extras to make you feel special. Would absolutely return.

Returning to this hotel after some years away, I was wondering if things had changed. And good news is not, the same charm and warmth is still there. I find the rooms snug but well designed and lacked nothing. Thank goodness for the old big bath tubs, which some hotels have abandoned, but I still think essential. Food at breakfast was delicious, jazz in the bar in the evening was a delight. All the staff are ready to go out of their way to help and make you feel like a valued guest. The location is so ideal, close to everything, but so quiet at night.

Such a friendly welcome and fast check in. Its a lovely Hotel and all of the staff are constantly looking out for your comfort and a personalised hand written welcome note from the manager in the room. The Hotel surprised us as to how accessible it is to Soho, Mayfair, Oxford street, Regent street and the museums. The room, a standard with king size bed could do with another comfortable chair instead of a desk one, but its a small detail. The turn down service and chocolates are a nice touch as is coffee by reception in the morning if you don't want to make it in your room as is fresh Lemonade in the afternoon. The restaurant was excellent however we will leave a separate review for that. The staff could not do enough for you from opening doors to making sure all was good was excellent. My only downside upon checking out was It was my intention to leave a good tip. However i noticed that a £15 a day service charge was added (£45 for 3 days) so there was the tip. I hope it goes to the staff. They deserve it. Hence 4 stars!! I would stay here again, maybe ask for a different room but that's not a criticism, only thinking that if you book through a 3rd party and not direct that maybe a reflection. Anyway....Good Hotel....Fantastic staff.... and would i go again? Without a doubt.
