St Giles London – A St Giles Hotel

Location is really good, room had just done renovate. But i just wonder why the hotel does not have centralized A/C? Luckily the weather is really good not too cold so it is still alright. The basin is designed all under the waist, imagine you want to wash your face or mouth is too trouble.

Location is good, Room is reasonable in size and clean, Service was so so…. Breakfast was standard.

Very well equipped and the location is very close to the British Museum and the underground station

The room was basic but adequate. I don’t think there are renovations being done at the moment (June 2024) but we were on the top floor and in an old style room. I was generally clean but dirty marks on the pillows. The bathroom however, was really smelly and not pleasant to use. Top floor not for those with vertigo!! That said it was a great location and staff were lovely. I expect the renovated rooms will be lovely (and more pricey). Value for money in the room we had was good.

We had a lovely stay at St Giles, London. Well located hotel, near to Tottenham Court Road Station, bus stops, supermarkets, shops, eateries, theatres etc. From Heathrow Airport, we took the Elizabeth line to Tottenham Court Road Station and hotel was just a short walk away. The British museum was also nearby. Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. As we arrived rather early, Nikki helped us to secure a room earlier than official check in time, so that we can put our luggages and rest. The concierge guys were great, giving advice on how best to get to our destination. The Chinese gentleman, sorry, I didn't get his name, even helped me with my Bolt app bookings! We booked 2 new twin rooms. Although they were small, they were sufficient for 2 pax in each room. All amenities that we needed were available and rooms were cleaned thoroughly when we returned from our sightseeing. There was no air conditioner in the rooms but weather was great, so we had no issues. The breakfast served was excellent, with a wide variety. Good choice for our short stay in London.
