The toilet door is broken, there is almost no sound insulation in the room and corridor, and there is no soap, toothbrush, etc. It is cheaper to order breakfast directly than to buy it at the hotel, and it is at the level of a guest house

What a lovely hotel in a great area - we arrived very early and asked if we could leave our bags - the front desk staff , especially Iolanda , were amazing and we were checked in ready , bags stored , and ready to explore with the promise of a text when the room was ready. All the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the Front Desk manager Ben showed us around the hotel. It’s a smallish hotel but great atmosphere, well presented and lots of personal touches - the restaurant and bar were very good - excellent breakfast and really like the coffee bar attached to the hotel - the room and bathroom were very pleasant and extremely comfortable bed made for two very good nights sleep . When we left the front desk again looked after our cases while we were out and about - would highly recommend and will definitely stay again ! Overall excellent.

Thank you so much for such a pleasant stay. Room was wonderful and cosy with a super-comfy bed and very modern bathroom. Gorgeous smellies and well-stocked. Even better, I stayed here because I was running the London Marathon. Had a great night's sleep and the wonderful Charmaine (sorry, I don't know how to spell your name) could not have been more accommodating. She let me use the shower after we'd checked out and I'd completed the run. I've never been so grateful to be clean and she looked after me tremendously! Would give her six stars if I could. THANK YOU!

I loved my stay at the Holmes. The hotel staff and the facilities were excellent as is the location. It is very easy to get to Baker Street station and take the metro to just about anywhere you want to go in London. The rooms were well appointed, the restaurant was great, and once again, the service was exceptional.

The Holmes hotel in London in a wonderful place to stay! The bed was super comfy and the room smelt so clean and splendid! The breakfast was delicious! Ben, the reception manager was lovely and happily helped us with any questions regarding the hotel! A big shout out to Costa from the restaurant team, who was absolutely wonderful and made sure my family and I were happy all evening long! Thank you so much Holmes hotel yay!

From the welcoming reception team to the catering staff, we were made to feel really special throughout your stay. Our room was wonderful with large windows overlooking Baker Street with good air conditioning and comfortable beds. A special thank you to Costa for being so attentive at the bar and to Ben, the front of house manager who made our stay extra special. Definitely can’t wait to visit again.
