We are indeed situated in a fabulous location, set in a quiet one-way street with super clean beautiful newly refurbished, modernised and beautiful hotel en-suite guest rooms. Response from Property: Dear Ms Alvestegui Thank you for your promised second churlish online review in response to our now three emailed messages of apology and update following on thereafter. We note your 1/5 overall review score rating. Your guest request to store chilled medication was correctly stored in the refrigerator section of a fridge freezer and the frozen cooler packs were stored correctly in the freezer section of a fridge freezer. It is a pity that neither our long-standing night manager of eight years nor you were able to identify the frozen cooler packs in the freezer section of the fridge freezer in the early hours of the morning of your hotel departure last Friday at 4am. In response to your other points; As with all hotel listings, we list the facilities that we offer and not a list of facilities which are not provided in our multi-award limited service three-star hotel. After five years of full hotel refurbishment to the guest room inventory there are no plans to add guest room refrigerators to our guest rooms. As was the case with your medicine storage request made only after you checked into the hotel, the hotel 24/7 front desk team keep a record of all guest requests for the almost daily requested storage of chilled and frozen food, drink, medical and freezer pack items which is communicated at each of the three shift handovers in every 24 hour period. With only an address recorded on your registration card in USA it is disappointing but not surprising that you criticise the offer to return your belongings to you. What a shame. Perhaps you may wish to alert future hotels to the fact you will require storage of medicines at room reservation stage? Our entire team are in great form after being awarded their twenty-eighth hotel travel award in the last four years in the last month of June having delivered hotel occupancies since March 2022, no less than 95% capacity to date. Finally, we hope your onward travels to mainland Europe are more enjoyable. Thank you.

We are sorry for you all that you did not appreciate any aspect of your visit form the warm welcome and kind gesture of a complimentary room upgrade to one of our superior category rooms. The Astor Court Hotel, awarded Boutique Hotel of the Year 2024/5 once again after our first such award in 2023/4 for London and South East is located within just a five minute walk to either Great Portland or Oxford Circus tube stations, two local bus service stops on the very first corner from our hotel front door, the beautiful Regent's Park nearby and the fabulous array of landmarks and places of interest and fabulous retail therapy options in Oxford Street. We are indeed situated in a fabulous location, set in a quiet one-way street - so sorry you were disturbed the distant tube rumbles from the now 162-year old London underground train system, which appear all over the capital city but which happily closes down overnight all seven nights of the week in fact in our local area, for a good night sleep and the ear plugs work beautifully. Yes, just as the case with many hotels from your native Krakow, we place a desk fan into all our guest rooms each summer as it is most unlikely we will ever be granted permission to install air conditioning into our guest rooms following two applications which we were declined as we are located in a conservation area of London. It really is poor show to criticise the hotel for a facility we clearly do not provide and the tube noises which appear all over the capital so in both cases there is nothing in our control to address either issue. The very clearly advertised Breakfast to Go as you may wish to reflect is a style of breakfast service which has been offered here for the last three years and nine months now for £5 or just 6 Euros per head as well advertised and detailed on our listing in multiple places and also is of course very well highlighted on your booking confirmation which is probably the cheapest breakfast offer in the market and of course also actually includes fresh fruit platters and a choice of ten hot drinks to choose from. At just £5 or just 6 Euros per head of course the light breakfast offer is very much worth it and very good value for money, with our serving 700 of these breakfasts comprising croissant with six preserves, the UK favourite fruit yoghurt, fruit juice, platters of bananas and easy peelers plus ten hot drinks to choose from every week. The croissants come from a French company who have been preparing their product for fifty years this year. UK hospitalisations from the two new C-19 variants of Pirola and Eris are at their highest just now since April 2023 so we all still need to take great care, thus our decision to continue with the breakfast to go offer. Sadly, a total of four guests have had to postpone their respective stays with us due to their contracting C-19 in the past few weeks.
