Lovely location for both Kensington, South Kensington and Chelsea. Clean and suitable room for a city break where you need to unwind after a long day of sightseeing.
Only negatives were for our baby. We were placed in a room on the ground floor but had to go up some stairs to access the room which made it hard with the pram. Additionally, the travel cot that was provided as requested didn’t have a proper cot mattress and so was a blanket wrapped in a sheet, which wouldn’t have been safe for a baby due to the suffocation risk. So our baby slept in our bed with us for our stay as the bed was quite large it allowed plenty of space for her between us.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Shout out to Abby who mapped out directions for the trains for me to get to the shopping I needed to get done before I left for the airport. This was a big help for me as someone visiting London for the first time and unfamiliar with the area and transportation.

In London als ein Touristischer Hotspot von Unterkünften die keinem gerecht wird oder es sind Unbezahlbare Hotels. Das Hotel Resident jedoch hat ein ausgezeichnetes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Das Hotel hat eine 24h Rezeption und wenn man früher kommt und die Räumlichkeit ist noch nicht fertig kann man das Gepäck vorher schon lagern das selbe gilt für die Abreise wenn der Flug oder Zug erst später geht. Das Hotel hat eine ausgezeichnete Ausstattung mit einer Miniküche (Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine und Geschirr). Ist nahe an Bushaltestellen und Tube Station und viele Supermärkte in der nähe. Das Team in der Lobby hilft einen bei allen Fragen rund um Hotel oder was man in der nähe so braucht. Oder rufen einem ein Taxi. Ich war schon öfters dort und auch in anderen Standorten von Resident und die Qualität stimmt einfach.

I upgraded this stay to a standard double as there was a promotional on offer even though I was there for 2 nights. It did not disappoint as the room was clean and had no trouble of sleeping. You cannot go wrong with this location especially for supermarkets, convenience stores, attractions and food around Kensington / Earls Court area. Transport is good too.
