London Hotels with Airport pickup service

A little racist. As a traveler from the US on business, I'm very frequently the only Black person in the room. This was the case for a few days here at this hotel as well. One day it was raining and a lovely gentleman on front desk duty lended me a KK hotel umbrella as I went out. Upon returning, I thanked him and handed him the umbrella back but another woman was there. An Asian woman (if this helps mgt narrow it down). As I was walking to the elevator, she rapidly asked me my room number. Now, I just returned an umbrella so clearly I'm staying here, right? Maybe she was asking because she wanted to send champagne? Nope. That never happened. She was racially profiling. I let her know I was in Room 303 but went back downstairs to address this with her to ask WHY she asked me that, but she had left her shift. I started not to leave this review but I have to. If you're Black, I would stay somewhere else. As many of us know, this is never a good feeling. P.S. KK Hotel, if you have audio on your cameras, check the evening of Tuesday, July 19, 2022 if you'd like to substantiate. And maybe partner with HR and invest in a little social awareness training. In case you didn't know, you have racists on your staff.

We were struggling to work out our evening. We stopped at the St Germaine branded bar on Bishopsgate. We were greeted by Elpee. From the outset they made us feel welcome and went above and beyond in making sure we were comfortable. They let us choose our seat, and set us up for what we expected to be a brief libation. My disabled partner and I were really impressed with Elpees attentiveness and quality of service. Being in London and disabled it can be a hard to navigate and aggressive environment. Our stop refreshed us, and made a it an exciting stop in our brief to the city.

More of a 3 star than a 4 star. We usually get a certain type of rooms in different countries but here the room was below our expectation. Various points were wrong, the staff was responsive and offered to change rooms by upgrading us. We declined because we had already unpacked. The plus is the proximity to the metro and a relatively decent price for London

I took my mum for a treat over the weekend just gone and I can honestly say it is the best hotel ever! With the most amazing and loviest staff ever! They will do absolutely anything to make sure you have the most amazing stay and nothing is to much to ask of them, they go above and beyond for you and they made are stay absolutely perfect! I want to move in permanently haha! I can not wait to be back there again soon! Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart your incredible! And will see you soon x

To here because of catching the flight after checking out from the uni student hall. The hotel is close to Terminal 4 of Heathrow Airport and the instructions for going to the hotel are clear, just about 5 minutes from the terminal exit near Heathrow Terminal 4. Go upstairs via the lift to the level written 'hotel'. The staff is very nice and they allow me to check in at about 12PM which is normally after 14PM without any charges. The staff is friendly and willing to solve problems. The room I got is really nice and see no dust or trash in the room. The bed is nicely tidy and all the devices in the room like tv, clothes iron and its desk, dryer, etc. The free breakfast included for all guests is not very impressive but fair enough. It's a buffet and it had bread, beans, bacon, sausage, etc, just a classic all-day breakfast you can get in the UK. The check out process is simple, just drop the card into the box named Check Out and you can freely leave.

On arrival the staff at the front desk was very friendly, allowed us to already leave our bags as our room was not available yet. Side note, we arrived at 11:30, check in is available from 14:00. When we arrived later in the evening we heard that our room is at the 4th floor and that the elevator doesn't work. To us this wasn't really a problem seeing as our lugage was already upstairs. We had to inquire a few stimes with the staff as there were quite a few things that didn't work like they're supposed to. The toilet didn't flush unless you did on a special manner, the air conditioning barely worked and literally hung together by tape. The bathroom was incredibly small, the floor tiles were cracked and there was mold in the shower. There is a kettle available to make tea and coffee but the only way to fill this is through the shower head. The sink is so small our feet would be soaked by simply washing our face, all of the water just splashed out instead of staying in the bowl. I get the oldschool whatever vibe they're going for but honestly this place is in DESPERATE need of a total renovation. The breakfast is basic but decent enough to fill your stomach in the morning. The location of the hotel is the best part of it all, close to the metro and hyde park (10 minute walk) but that's it. I would honestly never return here, felt like a bit of a waste of money.

Stayed there three times and last time was the final draw. The location is all right, the room was mediocre at best but the reception was the biggest issue. When checking in, I've been told to provide a photo ID which I didn't have. Instead of being flexible about it, the blond hair female receptionist from Eastern Europe tried to insist on this and even said that she could refuse to check me in. (Please note that no hotel in the UK insist on the ID check.) After some unpleasant debate, she finally gave me the room key unwillingly and told me to carry a passport next time. As a UK citizen, we don't carry one. I don't think that she would carry one around either. I had this specific debate not one but twice. Even her colleague commented that she should think 'outside the box' (with no apology on her behalf). Her attitude and inflexibility put me off completely. It was a cold day in March 24 when my last stayed in this hotel. They didn't leave the heating on. By the time I was in the room that evening, it was so cold that I needed to wear my jacket to sleep. Never again I will stay in this hotel!

The hotel is very historical and the overall decoration is also very good, but the room does not have any hot water or coffee machine, which is very inconvenient. The porter at the front desk is very friendly, but the gentleman who checked in is very disappointing The hotel is a high-end hotel, the location is very good, the hotel has a famous bar and restaurant The cleaning of the room is also not in place. Either there is no toilet paper, or the bottom mat of the shower is forgotten. All in all, it feels that the management is not good

I love going to the lounge bar here. I highly recommend. It's a lovely place to stop for snacks and a drink when nearby. Dishes are good but too salty for my taste room are 5 star quality that's ok.

This place is worth every penny….. Location 10/10 Food 10/10 Decor and cleanliness 10/10 Staff 10/10 We stayed here for 1 night in August. Everything was impeccable, I couldn’t even find something to score them down on. The staff were all fantastic, a couple were outstanding at service but I didn’t get their names. I had several personal touches as it was my birthday on the day we arrived. Food was incredible and Indigo restaurant is accredited by Coeliac UK which was a bonus as I have Coeliacs. The tasting menu with Wine pairing is highly recommended as is the gluten free fish & chips! 10/10 will go back as soon as I can.
