Very comfortable and clean deluxe queen with Mountain View. Well built with no traffic noise. Close to delightful Lone Pine town. Staff were nice and efficient. The breakfast was high quality for motel buffet, including scrambled eggs and burrito makings. Comfortable stay.

This was my 2nd stay here. Room was comfortable, but the A/C was loud and didn't cool the room enough overnight. The breakfast was good with plenty of options, but I was disappointed that the pancake machine was broken. The pool was nice, and was a good way to relax after a day hike. We arrived early and our room was ready, but we were still charged an early arrival fee without that fee being discussed. The bathroom had a strong sewer-gas smell, and the toilet was loose and loudly banged the wall when sitting down. We reported the smell to the front desk and he "went to check something" but the smell didn't fully clear. So we opened the small bathroom window, kept the bathroom door closed, and left the fan running. I looked out the bathroom window to see if there were any clues about the bad smell, and the view was of a junk yard - old water heater etc. Advice to management, get rid of the junk and grow fragrant flowers.

I was pleasantly surprised by the service and extras while staying with my family. Spacious, well-equipped rooms, friendly and attentive staff, and an unmatched view. The breakfast was a highlight for my kids, and I appreciated the contact from the hotel pre-arrival to make our check-in easy. The shower was great and there was plenty of parking.

Clean, comfortable, convenient, and quiet. There are fantastic views from the front and back of the property. Fully staffed (so rare these days) with courteous efficient help. We would definitely stay here again. Facility is in good repair.

We don't usually stay in Best Western's but we had heard it was "the best hotel in Lone Pine" and we were not disappointed. The staff were especially nice and helpful, and allowed us a late checkout due to our schedule. We booked a larger room which was very comfortable with a microwave, small fridge, and sofa. And despite 100+ degree weather outside, the a/c in the room was cool and did it's job. If we are ever in Lone Pine again we will definitely stay here.

Charming hotel with a nice pool. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast included Not a wide variety - pancake, toast, yogurt, tortilla, egg, and chorizo. The staff were exceptionally friendly. About 25 minutes from the Whitney portal. Three min drive to a grocery and several restaurants.

IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT A ROOM, DO NOT BOOK THIS! This property has always been one of my favorites. Until I arrived at 11:30 PM on August 30, 2024 with an already-pre-checked in reservation that they had just let someone else check into!!! No other rooms available in the entire town. Left us driving two more hours south in the middle of the night. Pretty sure they "sold" my reservation to someone with a little $$ pushed across the counter. To make matters worse, we continued to receive "would you like a late checkout?" and "how was your stay?" messages. Not only did they let someone else check into our room, they left our reservation - and a reservation for a second room! - attached to our BW account. Frustrated and disappointed are extreme understatements. Shame on you, Best Western Frontier Inn; shame on you. You lost your #1 fan.
