Lorne Foreshore Caravan Park

An amazing place full of animals and great views. The river is nearby and animals are everywhere. Good affordable place.

We stayed on a powered site in the Erskine river park and it was a beautiful setting. Facilities were really good and a small playground for the kids. Very close to town and supermarket. The staff member on check in was very accommodating and friendly, would definitely stay here again.

Bathroom needed work get mould etc and very tiny bathroom!

We were a little concerned after reading other reviews which suggested that site was cramped but were very happy with our stay at the park. Clearly others have said they had problems but our pitch was easily big enough for out campervan (7m x 2m), we could have parked a car next to it. The facilities were clean and the best thing was the closeness to the town of Lorne which has a lovely beach and a good range of bars and restaurants. I have deducted 1 point only because our pitch no longer had any grass (presumably because it is so late in the season) and the site we were on was behind a supermarket (fantastic for shopping but not great for the view).

We had a powered campsite that was way too small, the sites were very crowded together & uneven so quite a challenge to park our 16 ft Van safely. The park was sadly in need of regular maintenance & tlc. Lorne was a lovely spot & it wouldn’t take too much effort to improve the Foreshore Caravan Park, some money time & effort. The office person was helpful it’s just that the Park just didn’t deliver.
