Wi-Fi is not good

I recently stayed at the Carlyle Inn and had a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in the heart of Pico Robertson, so there are plenty of restaurants, shops, and other amenities within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Los Angeles. Here are some additional details about my stay: 1. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed, a desk, a chair, and a TV. 2. The bathroom was clean and had a good shower. 3. The hotel had a small gym with a punching bag, which was a nice touch. 4. The hotel is located in a great area, with plenty of kosher restaurants, grocery stores, and shuls within walking distance. 5. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they were able to answer all of my questions. Overall, I had a great experience at the Carlyle Inn and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Los Angeles. I tried checking in early but was told that there would be an additional charge if I wanted to check in before 3pm. That was a bit of a bummer :(

It’s unfortunate that the rooms don’t have a microwave. This hotel has been undergoing remodeling construction for some time. This was my second stay in the past six months. Can’t really fault the noise for that, but the properly is decent and it’s around the corner from where my daughter lives. It’s been very convenient.

So we got there around 7:00 pm and were told that we could not check in just yet because the person who does that is on dinner and the guy manning the front desk worked in the bar on the 2nd floor. Ok we can wait a few minutes. We asked to use a restroom as we had been driving for 7 hrs and were told that they didn't have any public ones. Only in the rooms. We asked if we could use the one in the bar and the guy who worked in the bar but was manning the desk said that he didn't have a key. After about 20 minutes we asked him to call the guy who works at the front desk and he said he didn't have a phone. I asked if he had actually left the building and he said that he didn't know. "Could you go check the staff room?". I was then told it was locked and he didn't have a key. I suggested that he knock on the door. The guy who worked the front desk came out about 30-35 minutes later. I won't get into the old, tired and not so clean room but needless to say, we won't be back.

We really just slept there so it was ok. But the bathroom door was crooked so difficult to close and open. Don’t think the quality was worth the amount to stay but location was good.

My stay at the Carlyle Inn was great for the price. Staff was friendly. They have parking at $30 a night but I used street parking with meter. There is a Walgreens within walking distance and good places to eat. Try “Pizzeria Sei” so delicious. No microwave available in room only in lobby.
