Royal Pagoda Motel Dodger Stadium ★★

📍 995 N Broadway, Los Angeles

"The room was stuffy, the sewer smell was strong, and there were often *********** on both sides of the street. What was even more bizarre was that the store asked us to pay an extra $30 for parking. We asked him to reduce the price, and he immediately reduced it by half. I seriously suspect that this person is charging a random fee. Overall, bad."

Viceroy Santa Monica Hotels in Los Angeles

Viceroy Santa Monica

"The location and facilities are not very cost-effective in Santa Monica and are not recommended. Because I booked a king bed room with a sea view, I naturally got a room on the top floor. But in terms of service details, I am really disappointed. There is no drinking water, no water cup, no hot water bottle, and no regular supplies in the room. Fortunately, I brought enough coffee drinks and a small electric pot. The brand of toiletries provided in the room is not that good. After most five-star hotels have switched to first-line brand skin care products, I was really surprised to encounter such a no-name brand (3000-4000 per night). I don’t need it anyway. The most intolerable thing I encountered was that I just asked if I could add a coffee table and 2 chairs to my room so that I could watch the sunset, but I was scolded loudly by the front desk. I didn't realize at once whether I was a guest or not 😂 Fortunately, Ctrip's customer service was very efficient in solving the problem. After understanding the situation, they handled it very satisfactorily. The hotel also apologized in time and put the tables and chairs in the room. inside. But why can't we talk properly in the first place? The second thing is that on the second day after check-in, there was a conflict among the hotel staff (a strike). At 7 o'clock, the alarm (fire alarm, ambulance and police car) was heard. My husband ran downstairs wearing a bathrobe...it was a false alarm. However, after communicating with Ctrip customer service, the hotel also expressed its apology and compensation. Overall, 4,000 per night is not worth it! Why not look at the other 2000-3000 options on the same street."

Hilton Garden Inn LAX Los Angeles Airport ★★★
"The hotel's location is excellent, with a direct airport shuttle to the terminal, which is very convenient. There's a McDonald's, Subway, Starbucks, and a gas station right next to it. The room was spacious and standard. When leaving the hotel, the driveway was very narrow, and I wasn't familiar with the rental car, so backing out was extremely difficult. A person kept honking at me, which left a bit of a bad impression."

Hyatt Place LAX/Century Blvd ★★★
"I specifically chose this Hyatt House hotel for my flight layover, and its location is fantastic. It's just a few minutes' drive to LAX airport, so there's no need to rush in the morning. The two-bed room was very spacious, with a sofa, basic kitchen facilities, and a refrigerator – perfect for a quick rest and a simple meal after a long journey. The soundproofing was good, the bedding was soft, and the hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from the airport. The facilities are modern overall, and the price including taxes was reasonable. It's truly the best choice for a stopover during an international transit."

UCLA Meyer & Renee Luskin Conference Center ★★★★
"My stay at the Meyer and Renee Luskin Conference Center at UCLA was incredibly satisfying overall. The hotel is situated within the UCLA campus, offering a quiet, safe, and beautifully green environment, perfect for exploring the campus on foot. The room was spacious and clean, with modern amenities, comfortable bedding, and excellent hygiene. The front desk staff were warm and professional, making check-in and check-out very efficient. Parking was convenient, and it was easy to access major Los Angeles attractions like Beverly Hills, Griffith Observatory, and Santa Monica. Whether for business or leisure, this is a highly recommended choice, and I'll definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit to Los Angeles."
