Friendly, clean, convenient
The location is good for getting to different parts of the city but itself not walkable to anything. The common space is vey nice and they do offer breakfast of cereal and boiled eggs.

The beds are extremely loud and you’ll hear the person above/under you move everytime. Windows cant be completely closed or darkened so the traffic noise will be there and light will wake you up. Staff was friendly and took care of my luggage even tho I survived earlier. Plenty of bathrooms so that there are barely any waiting times. Nice people staying there. The location is okay. You can’t walk anywhere by feet under an hour but bus/train are within 10/15 minutes walk

The person at the reception was super friendly and willing to help.
But I must mention the following as a tourist
They only work until 11 PM and then there is no one who can help in case of emergency
Now there are people who live by the month and do not give security to leave your things
They are people of color with no inclination towards racism, I just didn't particularly like their actions, they knocked down the microwave door, they were boisterous, an intimidating presence.
The location is not good as tourists, it is far from everything, there is a train nearby but there are many homeless people at the door
At night the area is very dark and I went out to buy water because they don't have anything in the hostel and I went to a tap that is about 4 dark blocks away and at the tap there were some men drinking and they even touched a girl in front of me, I had I was very afraid when I returned to the hostel and when I arrived no one answered, they only gave you a code so that you could open the door and to that you added that there were people living there, I had to leave the next day and look for a new hotel
It's nice as a lodging but I didn't feel comfortable

A relatively small hostel but kept very clean, the walls are surprisingly sound proof. I appreciate little things like how the door hinge and locks do not make loud noises when people come in, plenty of hangers and a full size mirror in the room. The bathrooms are spacious as well. I like how there is only one main dining table for everyone to eat at so you have the chance to meet and talk to everyone.
The only con is parking, but maybe it’s all of LA. The parking enforcer seems to come every day between 9:30-9:50am. I was one minute late and got a $63 parking ticket.

As a physician, I never thought of staying in hostels. But I am on me journey. I want to spend my remains tire traveling and treating patients. I walked into the STEADY, tge clean white linen, hard wood floors, the interior design made like an upscale exclusive party with jazz, R&B,Ed Shearen softly in the background. Very nice staff. Felt like Home. The windows R beautiful as the Sun smiles at you. Spiritually The steady is a bit of compassion here on earth. I Dr. Nik HURT HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE STEADY WITHOUT RESERVATION😎🎻💜✅☺️
