One of my favorite hotels while in LA. Great locations close to fwy and While foods.

We like staying there because of its proximity to my son's place. But this stay was rough - here's why:
1) The storm. We had to stay an extra day.
2) Kids jumping above us all night.
3) No hot water on our last night.
The hotel didn't tell us about the hot water issue when they discovered it. No discount or compensation for inconvenience. Kids jumping (after calling front desk) didn't stop.
Some of this is out of the hotel's control, but creating comfort is 100% within their control. Most people there were stuck.
Open the bar earlier, keep it open later. One free pastry... something.
Oh...the best part was the loon who started screaming about his girlfriend. The staff quickly removed them. Kudos to the staff for immediately getting rid of the crazy!
