Not a safe walking area, however fairly close to Dodger stadium. 7-11 is a quick walk as well as a doughnut shop and subway restaurant. Ride share pick up is fairly easy. No housekeeping during your stay.

The price wasn't that high for being a short drive from Hollywood. I want to make a reservation again when I go next time.

extended stay America is the worst experience i ever had at a hotel. do not ever stay at extended stay America. especially the Daytona beach Florida location. the elevator has been broken for 2 months, the air conditioner only works in half the rooms, key cards almost never work, staff is clueless how to resolve problems. i have been here 6 months and never had house keeping. house keepers will tell you your room is not on their list and refuse to clean your room. place is absolutely filthy. also they will cancel your reservation with out notice. STAY AWAY from Daytona beach Florida extended stay.

Certainly for the price, compared to the Los Angeles average, one couldn't hope for much. The location was great, free parking, having said that, the room smelled terrible and the carpet was full of stains: needs improvement.
