This was by far the worst motel we stayed in on our trip to America. We didn't have wifi, it could be that our room was just too far away from reception. In any case, we went to reception twice to raise the issue and were brushed off each time because apparently no other guests had problems. Unfortunately, internet was essential for our trip. The room was large and had a refrigerator, but it was an absolute disgrace. It was completely filthy, there were holes everywhere in the carpet and ceiling. But the worst thing was the smell. The carpet has probably been in the room for 40 years and that's how it smells. There are other carpets under there too. The smell was almost unbearable. When I asked the front desk if you could check out after the first night because you couldn't stand the smell, you were told you would have to ask the manager first. But it couldn't be reached now, only the next day. So unfortunately not service-oriented at all. I think they have enough guests, it's L.A. The location is okay, it's pretty central. But it's a poor area, so I wouldn't go for a walk.
