We booked this hotel through a travel agent, and while the property is very clean and the staff are genuinely friendly and professional, we were quite surprised by the overall atmosphere and policies, which were not highlighted to us in advance. This review is intended to give future guests a clearer picture so they can decide if it’s the right fit. Positive points: – Public areas are spotless and well maintained. – Staff were courteous, helpful, and welcoming. – Rooms were modern and comfortable. Points future guests should know before booking: – In our room we found a “Lovers Kit,” which included adult items. This was unexpected, and no context was provided at check-in. – There was also a door hanger with adult-themed wording. The meaning may have been innocent, but again, it was not explained, and we felt uncomfortable not knowing its intended use. – A $1,000 security deposit was required at check-in. We had not been informed of this beforehand, and it struck us as unusually high compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at. – The swimming pool was only open to children under 18 until noon each day. After that, the pool became adults-only and clothing-optional. While this may suit certain guests, families should be aware of this restriction before booking. – At check-in we were told that only two registered guests are allowed per room. While not a problem for us, it felt unusual compared to standard hotel policies. Overall impression: While the hotel does have many positive qualities, the positioning is clearly adult-focused. Some guests were there specifically for that atmosphere, while others (like us) seemed unaware and were simply expecting a normal holiday hotel. If you are traveling with children, or if an adult-oriented environment is not what you are looking for, you may want to reconsider or at least ensure you have all the details in advance. We would recommend that both the hotel and travel agents make these policies and the adult-oriented nature of the property much clearer during the booking process. This way, guests can make a fully informed choice and avoid surprises.
