PodShare East Hollywood

This was the worst experience staying at a place I have ever had and I've traveled in multiple continents for over 30 years. The experience was horrific and the management does care about basic standards. I was told that air conditioning can not be turned on during the day despite it being the hottest time of the year and over 15 people sharing a room with to get pest control and spray my bed and make me sleep there that night. I had to check out that day before work 2 days early with nowhere to sleep in LA. The management are an absolute joke. They hire previously homeless people and bully and scare them to say something and work in crap conditions. Another staff member came by from another one of their locations just to eat some free cereal, it's really sad. The way I was treated after being savaged by bed bugs was an absolute disgrace. Management treat guests like an inconvenience and no respect despite the cost to stay here averaging $50/night.

Incredible hospitality. The host was extremely lovely and deserves a raise. I seem to be 35 characters short so this is to reach 100. Okay bye ＜34.

The Podshare was very clean. Location was within walking distance to the Metro and had several restaurants nearby. I felt very safe and comfortable staying there.

I stayed at the Los Feliz PodShare and was genuinely blown away. It’s rare to find a place this affordable in LA that also manages to be cute, clean, and full of character, but this spot nails it. The space itself is thoughtfully designed and surprisingly cozy. Everything felt tidy, welcoming, and well cared for. But what really set it apart for me was the vibe. There’s a warm, almost family-like atmosphere that made me feel instantly at ease. The staff weren’t just helpful, they were kind. Like *genuinely* kind. The energy was communal without being chaotic, and I found myself having real conversations with people I’d never have met otherwise. The actual location of the spot was unreal. Los Feliz is effortlessly cool. Full of indie shops, great food, and easy access to all the best parts of LA. I walked everywhere, felt safe, and actually got to experience the city instead of being stuck in traffic or holed up somewhere generic. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay that doesn’t feel like a compromise, this is it. I almost don’t want to hype it up too much so it stays a hidden gem..but seriously, go. You’ll leave with more than just a place to sleep.
