The staff were extremely friendly and there was security in front door, they lock doors at around 8pm and you can only enter with card so I think they did make an effort in keeping the place a safe place. Location wise there are indeed many homeless wandering around especially after sun sets so I would recommend uber if you do go out but day light time I take the bus no problem

Very modern ands clean hotel, room is small but enough for solo traveler. Staff are nice and friendly. DTLA is not very nice place to stay though.

The hotel was great. Love the self check-in and self check-out system. Everything inside the room was controlled through a small iPad and I found that very convenient. However the rooms are pretty small and wouldn’t fit more than 2 people. I also wished the hotel would provide free parking in the nearby parking lots but I guess that’s not really possible in downtown LA.

the hotel is well appointed and the staff are friendly. downtown LA is quite an experience. just need to keep an eye on surroundings

Self checking experience is smooth like silk, downtown area with many restaurants to choose from, like it. Great breakfast everyone should strongly recommend to get a try.

should have more Amentiies in room..........coffee, tea, water, boiler etc....

it's clean ,but The room is very small …and the bathroom has kind of unknown terrible smell …The service is good ,lobby is nice too ,but around hotel there is a lot of homeless people ,dangerous

everything are prefect. Main entrance was locked during night. Feel safe because of this.

It was a cozy room (just right for one person) and the amenities in the room are well thought out. Sufficient facilities for the business traveler (meeting rooms, fast wifi, laundry rooms, etc). The area is not the safest (can’t be helped as it is downtown LA) but they do their best to give guests peace of mind, and it is very near to a number of tourist attractions. All in all a good experience and would recommend to other travelers.

Location not the best but love the mobile and tech experience. The room is so tiny too but the bed is cozy

For a solo traveller the room size was fine. Super clean. Only down side is no kettle, so no cups of tea. But you can pop down to the cafe downstairs for a brew. The hotel is only a couple mins walk from Grand Central Market for some tasty grub, 5mins from Pershing Square Station to travel out to other LA areas, 10 to 15mins walk from The Broad and MOCA. All in all a very good hotel for a solo traveller.
