Great service, and clean, great amenities. Private and spacious. Nice cottage style bedroom. Very beautiful and relaxing hotel. Had access to the private beach. Awesome, will come back again!

Truly magical place! Service is amazing from the second you arrive. From the welcome champagne to check out time, staff is very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

This place is magical from the minute you walk in to the minute you leave. It started with Val, Michael and Kurt Welcoming you at the front and checking you in with the glass of champagne and making you feel at home from the start. The staff for the three day trip on all aspects, including our waiter Kyle and restaurant manager Jerry at the restaurant Was over the top . It truly feels like you’re in a different ranch in Montana or somewhere yet you’re in Malibu only proximately 10 miles from the ocean. I would highly recommend this place for a getaway whether it’s couples family or even solo.

Staying at Calamigos was a great discovery for myself and the family. It was a true getaway only minutes from LA. Above all, the pampering we received was on par with any 5 star luxury resorts in Hawaii or Mexico. The staff was absolutely wonderful and the resort manager, Connor, was probably one of the best managers I have dealt with.

Came here for my bday weekend with some friends. Pavilion room was awesome - bed was super soft and cozy. Outdoor tub was great way to start the morning. The minibar is included with your stay and featured delicious cheeses and yummy health snacks and drinks. All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make it special. Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

I’ve been a guest at Calamigos Guest Ranch 5+ times, visited for an event/offsite, and my wife has spa treatments 10+ times since we moved to LA. In the past, the staff has been very helpful and professional. However, last night i had a call with an extremely disrespectful and unprofessional staff member. Im considering booking a family trip (8-10 rooms) at Calamigos for a weekend this summer, and i called about a question regarding their restaurant. The person proceeded to tell me im not allowed to go because im “not a guest or member”. I explained the reason for my question and he continued to tell me i cannot go because im “not a guest or member”. He refused to answer the question i had. I'm honestly shocked. We usually stay at San Ysidro Ranch, Rosewood Miramar, Post Ranch, Ventana etc and have never been treated like this. This is not a place that respects its guests and hope that they can correct their disrespectful behavior. Even if i was just a random person, you should treat people with respect regardless of their wealth or status. Very sad to see.

Some of the best service I've ever experienced. It's expensive, but comes all-inclusive. Everything in your room is included. All property amenities are free. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The highest-end glamping experience you can have in LA. Will come back next time with the kids.

The has to be one of the most disappointing overrated places we stayed. I cannot find a single good thing to say about this place. It is a run down wedding factory/ event space/ members club and definitely NOT a hotel. We witnessed staff stealing from the snack bars and drinking at the beach club bar whilst working. All the signs were there of a place in financial difficulty. Alarm bills rang when they demanded full payment for a 3 night stay 6 months in advance. Wish we’d trusted our instincts and found somewhere else.
