Killyhevlin Lakeside Hotel & Lodges

On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly helpful receptionist who showed us our room. The food was delightful and served by very friendly professional staff. This hotel has relaxing atmosphere. Everything was bright clean and to a high decorated standard. We’ll be back. ☺️👍

And here as a surprise visit for my birthday .not my first time here .always love to come back .its like coming home ! Absolutely amazing place ! Staff are lovely food is amazing ! Cocktails were amazing ! Bedrooms are comfortable very clean and cosy and added touch was the little bear in my granddaughters cot . There’s a great kids park which my other granddaughter was delighted with. Can’t wait to come back hopefully soon! Thanks so much

We had a fantastic time away staying in the lodges. Kate from the bar was absolutely brilliant and incredibly accommodating, she made us feel extremely welcomed and couldn’t give enough thanks to her. Will definitely be returning. Absolutely beautiful views from the lodge?

The property was clean and the staff were brilliant set in a beauitful location the walks round the lakes were beauitful would definitely go back again and the food was excellent

Wee visit for Birthday treat. Room lovely and spacious, but too hot, even with windows open. Plenty of towels and nice modern bathroom with great shower. ( our pressure at home is poor) Had courtesy call a few days before enquiring if we would like to reserve a for dinner as would be quite busy. So glad we did as there were a few large groups in, Was surprised to learn that dinner is no longer served in the restaurant but in what we referred to as the Bar and grill ( partitioned section of bar beside the windows) sections and is one area now and laid back. Pianist still plays whilst you eat. .Not sure why they have chosen to introduce this as cuts down on number of covers per night and only one menu now. Turkey and Ham was lovely, we didn't want burgers, goujons, chips etc as these are available in every bar / restaurant nowadays. Would have liked to see a stir fry, or some pasta dishes on the menu, maybe tagliatelle, meatballs, arrabita etc. Only issue was there were some wedding guests in the reception area on the Saturday who were loud much to the annoyance of guests having tea / coffee or reading there. Prices have gone up quite a bit, but same everywhere to be fair. All staff were pleasant and helpful including some familar faces. Hot tub lived up to its name but was lovely. Unfortunately the steam room was too hot for us. A nice stay.

A very accommodating hotel with excellent facilities & very friendly service. The room & food was great and late checkout was no issue. The kids loved the pool, play ground & breakfast options. The beds were comfortable & the bathroom was decorated to a high spec. Nice to have a mini fridge, iron & dressing gowns/slippers.

Spacious, clean room. Unfortunately I had a view of the car park but it was quiet.

Enjoyable stay. Looking forward to my next visit.
