Breakfast was very moderate ... Mostly fat and there was no choice of bread types. The bathroom was very dirty and in the washboard was water in the previous people ... sheets were standing and clearly not washed ... Think that the bed was made alone.

The lobby is beautiful and there are comfortable sitting areas both inside and outside. The room was bright and smelled clean and fresh. There were little chocolates and earplugs on our pillows. The bathroom was small, but comfortable and had little amenities such as shower caps, lotion and sponges. The shower door did leak, though. There was a lovely minibar in the room with drinks and snacks that were reasonably priced. Parking was a problem. There is a garage, but the incline is so steep, that we couldn't drive down it without damaging the car. We had to find parking on the street. The hotel was located a little farther away from the city center as we thought, but not really bad. It's a nice walk downhill and over a bridge.

Diabetics, be aware there are no fridges in the room. You will need to store your insulin in the office fridge. Breakfast said it was until 10 but when we arrived at 9:30 there were no eggs or bacon left and staff would not bring out anymore. The room was so hot that we had a window open the entire 2 nights we were there (end of October) and the thermostat didn't do anything. Good location if you were taking a train though, right beside the train station. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

Ich habe ein sehr schönes und liebevoll eingerichtetes Appartement vorgefunden, das zudem gründlichst gereinigt wurde. Aufgrund des hochwertigen Bettes konnte ich so wunderbar schlafen, dass mich nur der tolle Kaffeeautomat, der samt Kapseln zur Verfügung stand, überhaupt aus dem Bett locken konnte. Den Kaffee konnte ich bei Sonnenstrahlen, eingekuschelt auf dem Balkon zum Garten hin genießen. Trotz der zentralen Lage mitten in der Stadt Straubing war es ruhig. Ich habe mich sehr wohl in der Donau Lodge gefühlt und kann das Bordinghouse daher nur weiterempfehlen. Herzlichen Dank für diese tolle Möglichkeit!

GGuest UserA beautiful hotel that is super suitable for short or long stays. We were very friendly and the hotel is in a state of innocuity. The location is super, but something has disturbed, but the hotel cannot do anything about it is that in Deggendorf some carpools appear to have been on the road the nearby parking lot of a retail centre held their meetings. These were painted by a loud nervous porcelain with sound sound of music and sound motor noises. This is where the city should do something.

IIan Bwe have been going to the ASAM for many years now and have never been disappointed. Rooms are spacious and always very clean. Comfortable beds give a really restful sleep. The hotel is a 20minute walk to the town square but the staff can organise a taxi for those with mobility issues. The food including breakfast is excellent and the beer is always cold and tasty. Overall this is an excellent place to stay if in Strraubing, highly recommended.

GGuest User4 Nächte haben wir hier verbracht. Parkplätze gibt es leider nur 4-5 Plätze. Besser als nix. Man muss bedenken, es ist die Altstadt, damals wurden keine Häuser mit Tiefgaragenplätzen gebaut. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten ein etwas größeres Zimmer mit Blick auf die Donau. Die Fenster sind kleiner als normal und höher, sodass man beim Sitzen oder Liegen nichts sehen kann. Auf viele Kommentare wegen der Lautstärke möchte ich meine Meinung dazu sagen: Das hier ist die Altstadt, da ist immer insbesondere im Sommer viel los. Natürlich gibt es draußen Pflastersteine, und natürlich ist es dann laut wenn Autos drüber fahren. Man kann nicht immer alles haben wollen, sich dann aber beschweren. Wir hatten jeweils ein Paar Ohrstöpselchen vom Hotel auf den Betten. Wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Die Zimmer und auch das Hotel sind insgesamt etwas altbacken. Unser Zimmer hat immer etwas modrig gerochen, da es zwar kühl aber noch angenehm war, hatten wir immer das Fenster offen. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber. Ich glaube auch, das wir jeden Tag neue Handtücher bekommen haben. Das Badezimmer ist nicht besonders gross aber auch nicht zu klein. Was ich im Bad toll fand: schön heißes Wasser, Watte, Wattestäbchen, Zahnbürste, Zahnpasta, Schuhputzschwamm, EinmalRasierer, Kamm.. Was ich im Bad nicht gut fand: Die Badewanne. Gibt vielleicht Menschen, die das noch toll finden, aber der Ein- und Ausstieg ist schwierig, es gibt keine Haltevorrichtug außer dem Handtuchwärmer / der Heizung. Eine Bitte an das Hotel: bitte auch mal täglich prüfen, ob noch genug Kaffee und Tee da sind. Wir hatten nämlich bei der Ankunft am Wasserkocher jeweils 2 Tütchen Zucker, 2 Pöttchen Milch aber leider nur 1 Portion entkoffeinierten Kaffee und nur ein Teebeutel Früchtetee. Ich habe es dann vom Frühstücksbuffet aufgefüllt :) Die Preise von der Minibar sind vollkommen OK. Da kann man sich gerne mal täglich eine Pulle Bier aufmachen. Oder auch zwei. WLan ist vollkommen in Ordnung. Frühstück haut mich nicht vom Hocker. Eigentlich war alles da und man wurde satt. Dafür gab es eine sehr gute Auswahl an Teesorten. Die Lage des Hotels ist MEGA, tolle Restaurants in der Nähe

GGuest UserDas Hotel ist sehr schön und ruhig gelegen. Wir bewohnten eine sehr schöne große geräumige Suite. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich und nett. Das Frühstücksbuffet und auch das Abendbuffet ist ausgezeichnet. Das Hotel hat einen großen Innenpool und einen großen warmen Außenpool. Am Pool und auch bei den Gartenliegen kann man sich Getränke und Essen servieren lassen. Das Auto kann man in der Tiefgarage parken. Die Einfahrt ist steil und etwas schmal, aber die Garage ist groß, auch für große Autos geeignet.

This is really a completely new Ibis with a charming lobby and comfortable & warm rooms. A lot of parking places around the hotel. The train station with different eateries is just around the corner and the unique ”Altstadt” of Landshut some 20min walking. I enjoyed my overnight stay very much. The staff is excellent and a special regard to the receptionist at the check in (Tuesday afternoon, 22.02.22).

GGuest UserWaldkirchen is a place where you don't directly note from the name that it offers a lot, whether it is a unknown distillery, nature, hiking paths, a curry park etc. The hotel newly acquired by the Achat Group is located on the edge of Waldkirchen in The hotel is a little angled and people with a hiding restriction would certainly have difficulties here. After the takeover, some changes will still have to be made. The room was decent, perhaps somewhere already taken. The parking situation before the hotel was good, with a complete reservation you have to avoid something. The breakfast did not give rise to any challenge, except for the service, which was partly somewhat unconscious and did not know exactly what to do. This led to a partly lack of carpet. Overall, however, we had a positive impression and a clear trend for repeating.

GGuest UserPerfect location. Great breakfast, Comfortable bed. A big star for each. Stayed here for a family reunion last year. Since ownership /management changed was disappointed to see that standards have dropped drastically. The staff are helpful but there are so few of them around. This weekend the overworked receptionist doubled as electrician trying to deal with issues such as the electronic key system not working and several guests locked out of their rooms. Meanwhile other arriving guests were waiting at reception with the phone ringing. This hotel feels like it is nose-diving down without a careful management eye looking at maintenance and details. I love this place but it is definitely not a four star hotel!
