Family-friendly Hotels in Luang Prabang

Environment: rice fields, cicadas chirping, but no mosquitoes beside the paddy fields. Waking up early to bask in the warmth of the swimming pool with a hint of coolness in the morning, looking at the green rice fields, the mist-shrouded mountains in the distance, the clear blue sky and white clouds, I felt that there was a vivid memory on my life list. Room: The air conditioning is sufficient and there is no noise. There is also a fragrance system, and the high roof space makes people relax. The equipment is well-equipped and very new. I fell asleep on the first night without much fuss as I was in an area where bed trouble was most common when I was on a business trip. Service and breakfast: Very welcoming. There was a problem with the hot water on the first night. I called the front desk and sent someone to fix it immediately. There is a free shuttle to town. The breakfast is rich, especially the local millet noodles. Overall review: :) I don’t want to give a good review, because I’m afraid you might raise the price next time if you know more.

The breakfast is good, the environment is very good, and the room is also very good. The owner is also very nice. It is the navigation location that is being renovated. The actual address is 50 meters away in the alley next door, and it's not hard to find the one with the sign.

Burasari made my trip to Luang Prabang and incredible experience. The staff is great. Friendly and helpful. The rooms are so beautiful. I got a special rate which made it even better. Highly recommended.

Great stop for a few nights in Vang Vien. Hotel couldn't be more central. Close to the best bars and restaurants and right on the night market but piecefull and quiet. Just a few minutes walk from the minibus terminal. Special thanks to Duong (David) for all his help with arranging a delivery to my next hotel in Lunag Prabang with personal items prohibited on the train. He, and his team, were fantastic throughout our stay with and should be praised for their hard work and diligence in makeing our stay both memorable, comfortable and fun. We would highly recommend and at any point in the future should we be in VV we would be sure to book in again.

When our driver pulled up to the hotel by a rickety bridge over the river, we were a bit nervous as the hotel looks tiny from the outside. What we thought was the hotel was actually the lobby and the hotel is actually quite large and sprawling with buildings and bungalows scattered next to the river. The hotel has a lovely infinity pool by the river with a lounge chairs, beach towels and an affordable pool bar with snacks for sale. The rooms were spacious with large balconies. The toilet was by the front door so you had to exit the WC walk around the corner to the bathroom to wash your hands - sort of a weird set up, but did help in the morning for 2 people to get ready. This was the only hotel we stayed in with dual sinks and a long vanity so excellent for 2 travelers and a big plus! The shower was a walk in so east access. The hotel also has a restaurant where breakfast (included) is served in the morning. Unfortunately it was a buffet with limited options and the food that was supposed to be hot was always cold and unappetizing. The hotel uses tiny candles to try to keep the food warm but this method does not work at all. The hotel no longer has a shuttle to town which is a negative as you need to walk across a scary rickety bridge to get to town. The hotel does not have a gym which is a requirement, in my opinion, if you want to be a 5 star resort. My only other comment to management is to find a few better English speaking employees as we had difficulty communicating with staff. Yes we know we are in Laos and should learn to speak their language but I feel when you cater to tourists you need a few people in each area to speak the universal language for business. We did enjoy our stay and can recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel is a certain distance from the main street, and it is not easy to reach on foot, but the hotel provides a free shuttle bus, so it is quite convenient. The location itself is also relatively quiet. There are not many rooms in the hotel, and the environment is very good, with a touch of Japanese Zen. The service is quite satisfactory, not particularly enthusiastic, but everything can be responded in a timely manner. The facilities in the hotel room are generally ok, but the bathroom is a bit old, the water pressure fluctuates when taking a shower, and the water is also very slow. Flushing the toilet was too loud. The most terrible thing is that we live in the connected room of the hotel, and the sound insulation is almost non-existent. I can hear normal conversations, and the next door was crazily noisy after staying for two nights, and the next door was still playing loud music in the early morning of the last night. There are not many types of breakfast but the taste is good. There are fresh fruits and freshly squeezed juices. Mangoes are really delicious! I love mangoes so much! Freshly cooked rice noodles also taste good. However, it is strongly recommended not to come to Luang Prabang from February to April. The air quality is like a volcanic eruption. After we stayed for one night, we decided to give up the next Pullman and drive away in advance. The whole city is yellow, and the air is A smell of paste. Apart from that, the hotel is a good hotel and Luang Prabang is also a very good destination.

This hotel and Laos in general were a complete and utter positive surprise and experience. Booked last minute due to prior flight cancellations in Bangkok, this was a real treat. From the moment we stepped in (prior to checkin time I’ll add) we were warmly greeted by the team with a lovely welcome beverage and a room upgrade with early checkin. Next the staff helped us arrange our entire 24h in Luang Prabang to ensure we maximised the trip, organising every detail from the driver to towels for the waterfalls. The room was gorgeous, upstairs overlooking the pond with nice touches including free local beer. The bathroom was gorgeous with nice scented oil. Breakfast was good. Everything about this trip and hotel surpassed our expectations, especially for the price point. Highly highly recommend.

It is one of the best hotel experiences we have had in over 30 years of travel. Without a doubt, the professional and charming staff helped a lot with the attention provided, and a service always above expectations. The facilities are impressive, nothing more beautiful than the central patio with the small pond and the garden, as well as the large common pool area, a 10! The breakfast has a high quality, a lot of variety on offer and they are always willing to prepare a more filling dish for you. The toast with avocado and poached egg is recommended, a great way to start the day. We found the room we were assigned to be one of the best in the hotel, with several separate spaces and a private pool. To stay here many more days. They should improve the Wi-Fi connection in that area of ​​the hotel, given that we were barely able to connect in the room during the days we stayed. Having to work at some point, this represented a problem, which I quickly forgot with a dip in the pool. Thank you to all the staff for your extraordinary work.

Can I also give it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for pool? This exceeded all expectations, and notably the staff were very friendly and always there to help. It was so good we added an extra day. It was the perfect way to switch off and watch Luang Prabang from above.
