The bathroom, toliet was designed for a toddler, shower drain was old and crusty and the shower head would not adjust, the bed had a serious dip in the middle and uncomfortable

I feel very lucky to have ended up staying at the MCM Elegante. I booked this hotel for a conference at the convention center and was worried at first. I had booked late, and the other event hotels were full. My stay ended up being wonderfully beyond my expectations. First, it is across the street from the convention center, so extremely convenient without a car. Second, the staff was so friendly and helpful. I arrived much earlier than the check-in time and was offered coffee while I waited. I was able to have a nice lunch in the on-site restaurant and safely stored my luggage until my room was ready. I travel a lot, and this hotel offered the best shuttle service I've experienced. I was not only provided free and quick transport to and from the airport, but I was also offered transportation to and from the Texas Tech campus for a scheduled event that I was attending at the university. Lastly, everything was clean and comfortable. The rooms are huge compared to many other hotels and well kept. I would no doubt stay here again if in Lubbock.

Building is old and creepy. Everything is outdated and definitely needs some love and care. Remodel!!!!

Hotel is run down, bugs in light over vanity. Carpet in room extremely worn and torn. Air conditioning would not cool room. Only good thing was service and breakfast.
