"This was the cleanest and nicest experience I have ever had at a budget motel. The staff was really nice. It was a very busy weekend for the town (George Strait) and I don't think they were used to being fully booked up on one night and having to turn over the entire hotel for the next night being booked up with new guests. We arrived a little after check out and they didn't have a room quite ready yet, but we didn't have to wait long and they were very nice and apologetic about it. The property has clearly been renovated recently and was very clean. I share the same complaint as other reviews regarding the shower not having a door, curtain, or lip to catch the water and heat. We just kept the door shut and put a towel down and it wasn't that big of a deal, but definitely a design flaw. The door into the room also had some fitting issues. There were clear gaps. Luckily, this didn't cause any safety, noise, or temperature control issues, but again this was a clear design / fitting issue. Loved that they had a Firestick TV in the room and I was able to sign into my streaming services, because who watches live TV anymore? JK JK. We were right next to the highway, so you could hear cars passing by. If you like white noise while sleeping, this is a great substitute, but if you need dead quite, they offer free earplugs at the desk! The bed was not the best, but all-in-all this was a good place to hang your hat and call home for a night."

"Horrible! First, bugs! For real! I'm taking over 100 and not just a few. Did not see them until the middle of the night and then after seeing them all over the bathroom, we left at 3:00 AM! The door latch had been busted off and painted over with 1/2 of it missing so could not latch the door. The chest of drawers only had three sides of the drawer, no back or bottom. We paid $101.98 for the room through *******. You would have thought the name would have brought a better quality of room but by no means having bugs everywhere, coming out of the bathroom door jam. I've never been to a hotel like this one! It is close to the Lubbock airport but don't be fooled, or you will be the fool!"

"Good location, spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Fast check in and out. Limited breakfast choices. The desk chair in the room couldn’t go up and was dirty (spots and hair - probably from a pet). I left my pajamas on the bed in the morning and found a note left by the cleaning lady. She apologized for not making up my bed since there was a personal item left on it. This has never happened to me before."

"Wow, this stay was fabulous! I stayed for 2 nights and I knew it would be great because BJ's Restaurant was literally less than 2 minutes away by walking! They were festive for Halloween in the lobby! In the morning, I indulged in their breakfast. They had a waffle maker, assorted fruits, juices and water with lemon. The rooms are very clean and all your amenities are there; they do not have their travel sized take home amenities which is great to me. They have refillable lotions, shampoo, conditioner etc... I would stay here again and again!"

"When I first arrived with my children I walked into the front lobby where a fish tank was disgusting full of algae and the whole lobby smelled of ****. I asked the front desk person if he had been smoking **** and he said yes. He couldn’t give us the room we reserved an entire month ago as he had occupied it with other guests. We get up to the room he did have available only to find the beds were not made, there had been a fire in the room so everything was unplugged, including the smelly refrigerator, and the temperature was hot due to thermostat unplugged. The bathtub was absolutely filthy with rusted drains and there were no towels. The chairs and bed boards were also very dirty with obvious stains. The tiles in the floor were cracked in several places and the carpets had not been cleaned. We had to wear shoes to walk around and protect our feet. I called the front desk to get housekeeping but they had left for the day. I asked the front desk person to bring me new bedding and he flat out stated “that’s not my job ma’am that’s housekeeping”. Ok by this time my patience is running low. He said he can move us to another room. Ok so we start to pick up our bags to meet him downstairs when he calls back to tell us someone else just occupied the room he was going to move us to. Ugh! It was a nightmare!! After about 30 minutes of standing and waiting he brought bedsheets. That’s it. I asked him to change them and he started arguing with me. I decided to drop it so my family would have a place to rest for the night. We had to wait another hour for towels. I attempted to contact Trip.com customer service but just got circulated through AI survey after survey. I never could reach a real person. My son was coming back from the restroom and pointed out a deer mouse by the bed. I told the front desk and he told me “we don’t have mice in the building ma’am”. We lured the mouse out with bread that we had into a hallway completely up in **** smoke. It was so bad my daughters asthma was triggered. The free breakfast has eggs made with egg powder and cold water, the sausage is undercooked, other options minimal such as one raspberry yogurt, oatmeal packets, or plain bagels. No fruit options or staff on hand to help. Housekeeping is in charge of opening up breakfast. This hotel is family owned and operated with EXTREMELY POOR customer service. I will not be taking my family there again. I would HIGHLY discourage anyone else to stay there as well."
