A definite YES! The hotel (recently remodeled I understand) is wonderful, close to the train station (we walked to the hotel with carry on size luggage, but took a cab when we left). Claudia at the front desk (and the others too but we dealt with her most), was awesome - very helpful, friendly. She made dinner reservations and even hooked me up with a tour - both last minute. the breakfast was great and the afternoon beverages real nice. Rooms clean and reasonably priced. All the staff was great. No problems recommending this hotel 100 percent.

I should like you to forward this review to your manager in order that he/she will know how much we appreciated your staff kindness and that the helpful and knowledgeable information you gave us made for an excellent stay in Lucca. The hotel is beautiful, the staff friendly and hard working and the breakfast was delicious. The afternoon buffet was also a very much appreciated bonus. My family and I hope we can visit this beautiful part of the world again very soon.

This hotel is excellent.I could start this review on many topics concerning the hotel but the thing to that sets it apart for excellence ( apart from many other things) is the superb quality of the staff ( each and every one). They work as a total team and they deserve every good adjective in the book ( helpful, cheerful, efficient, ).They are best described as...well lovely. The hotel is like a oasis in a desert.Not that Lucca is thus described.That is also lovely.But arriving back at hotel after a gruelling day in Florence, it as an oasis of welcoming calm and delight. Well done ALL of you.

We had a relaxing stay a lovely clean hotel in city centre just 20 mins from station Rooms are fresh and clean Complementary snacks / drinks Very helpful friendly staff in all areas Modern rooms Free bikes to explore Overall we had a fabulous stay and will be returning in the summer

Fantastic location, exceptional service with complimentary afternoon treats, and friendly staff. The breakfast was delightful, especially the selection of deli meats. The bedrooms were comfortable and pleasant. I will definitely be returning on my next visit.

We spent 3 nights at this lovely hotel and it was great being welcomed by the friendly staff. The staff were always on hand and so accommodating. There was plenty of choice for breakfast which consisted of fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, pastries and much more.. I would highly recommend this hotel when staying in Lucca.

What a wonderful hotel this is from the very friendly, helpful staff (with special mention for Alessandro and Claudia, the receptionists) to the free buffet offering drinks, cakes, pastries etc from noon to 19.00 (including Prosecco from 17.00). Breakfast was also special with an extensive buffet including cereals, fresh fruit, pastries, cakes, yoghurts, 3 types of bread, bacon, boiled & scrambled eggs plus juices and tea/coffee. This takes place in the charming breakfast room overlooking the botanic gardens. Our bedroom had just been renovated and had a very comfortable, large bed, a spacious bathroom with bathtub, tv, free Wi-Fi and tea/coffee etc. If ever you visit Lucca I would recommend staying at this wonderful hotel.

Solide 4 Punkte ewertunf könnte ich. achvollziehen. Aber sonst…. Das Ilaria ist gut gelegen am Rande der Stadt. Wir waren während unserer Aufenthalts im Annex - sehr ruhig. Die Grösse und Gestaltung der Zimmer ist angenehm. Soweit so gut. Warum das Hotel so gut bewertet ist, erschliesst sich mir nicht. Das Personal war zum Teil freundlich, aber mehr nicht. Empfang beim Checkin war mehr eine kurze Abwicklung des Nötigsten. Das Frühstücksteam wirkte Hektisch und nicht im Job angemommen. Es ist wirklich nicht viel besonderes an diesem Haus abgesehen der Zimmer (ja, Suiten sind sehr schön).Neben der Lobby gibt es eine steril anmutende, überhaupt nicht einladende Reihe von Tischen und Stühlen (sie nennen es ihre Cafeteria oder Bistro), dort kann man Kleinikeiten (nichts besonderes) für den kleinen Hunger beziehen. Es gibt keine Hotelbar, es gibt einen modernisierten und neuerdings ungemütlichen und erstaunlich kleinen Frühstücksraum. Klar, die Terrasse neben dem Frühstücksraum ist schön, aber wenn es am Morgen regnet,…. Das Jacuzzi auf der Terrasse in der Ecke wirkt wie eine Verlegenheitslösung. Das Frühstücksangebot war durchschnittlich im Vergleich zu dem, der 4* Hotels die ich sonst kenne.
