Tenuta di Tramonte Boutique Hotel

"Tenuta di Tramonte was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in Italy in years. It was a last minute booking when we decided to go a day early before heading to a villa of our friend’s son for a week . It was the best decision . Arriving from London we spent the early afternoon in Lucca which we love and then headed to the hotel. As soon as we arrived we were warmly greeted as if we were friends. The hotel has an amazing setting. We were given a tour of the grounds including the natural pool and were told about the history and the seven year conversion of the convent into a hotel with only seven beautiful rooms each with gorgeous views and huge bathrooms with every little luxury. We ate dinner at the hotel - elegant and each dish was a work of art . Beautifully presented.bread is made at the villa and has to be the best bread in Tuscany. Breakfast was an Italian array with so many handmade pastries and cakes and we ate it looking at the hillside and dreaming about coming back which we will certainly do ."

"The hotel is not big but very clean and tidy. It is very comfortable to live here. The outdoor swimming pool is great. A good place for children to play. The air is fresh and close to nature. In short, I recommend it. !"

"I stayed at Villa Cheli for one night in March 2024. The villa and location are stunning. All very nice from the outside. Management, in my opinion, has areas for improvement. In particular: - maintenance and cleaning of the room. - Breakfast. The offer is based on packaged products. Overall everything was fine, but with a little more attention it would be super!"

"The environment is very beautiful, the room is OK, it's not the main building but a row of simple rooms outside, not very soundproof, the hot water flow for showering is very small, the breakfast is very good, the service is also good, and the hospitality is very warm."

Hotel la Luna

"My friend and I loved staying in La Luna. The location is superb, and the staff are amazing! The hotel was so charming, even down to the giant room keys you can leave behind the desk. The breakfast was simple but got the job done. The beds are a little hard and pillows a little thin, but staff kept our room nicely tidy. Our AC didn’t work, so we slept with our windows open. This worked to fall asleep, but Lucca is definitely a loud city throughout the night, so bring your ear plugs if you’re sensitive to noise. I would definitely stay here again!"

"The location is excellent. Rooms are spacious and clean. Common kitchen/dinning areas are well maintained. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this place to people visiting Lucca. Francisco was very helpful. He let us store our luggage and organised taxi for us to go to pisa airport. His brother alllowed us to use bathroom, even though restaurant was closed for afternoon . "
