I can not tell you how amazing this hotel is. 12th century villa. Stunning. Grounds are gorgeous. Location is perfect. Close to both Lucca and Pisa and Florence. Free breakfest was great. Rooms comfortable. Bathroom newly renovated. 10-10

An absolute gem of a villa - or palazzo? - it's in a tremendously peaceful and beautiful setting. Fascinating architecture and friendly staff, fine buffet breakfast with gluten free bread etc on request. Not terribly easy to find the entrance at night - but that is honestly my only criticism. It's a perfect base to explore the area from, a short drive to Lucca (park outside the walls and walk in). If we visit again we'll spend time in the grounds and enjoy the swimming pool.

villa molto bella ben tenuta pulizia impeccabile , ottima colazione , abbiamo usufruito del prazo semplice ma buono. unica nota sarebbe il caso di cambiare i materassi abbastanza obsoleti. Valutazione conunque buona lo consiglio.

Etwas abseits gelegenes Hotel an der Straße von Pisa nach Lucca. Sehr großer Park und eine alte Villa, die toll und stilgerecht eingerichtet ist. Auf viele Details wird geachtet - eigenes Farbdesign für jedes Stockwerk zum Beispiel. Die Zimmer sind in verschiedenen Designs dekoriert. Allerdings erschlägt es einen, weil Tapeten, Türen und Vorhänge alle in einem - großen, intensiven - Muster sind. Bei einem längeren Aufenthalt wäre das echt zu viel! Alles sehr komfortabel. Das Fenster war winzig - eben so, wie es früher war. Da wir uns wunderbar in dem herrlichen Park aufhalten konnten, war das kein Problem. Das Personal war freundlich und engagiert. Ein bisschen mehr Sauberkeit hätten wir uns gewünscht - die Teppichböden zeigten doch hier und da Spuren von Flecken, Getränken u.s.w.

Si trova in una posizione ideale fra Lucca e Pisa. Parcheggio facile e reception 24 ore. Grande parco dove passeggiare all'ombra e una piscina con acqua rinfrescante - e finalmente non ghiacciata come molte altre!! Gli spazi comuni sono meravigliosi, con tanto spazio all'esterno per godere della natura e, all'interno, arredi originali per sentirsi in un'altra epoca. Consumazioni al bar economiche e una colazione veramente eccellente, con scelta di salato e dolce. Tutto il personale è stato cortese e sorridente. A differenza di quanto scrivono sul loro sito, le camere non sono affatto rinnovate o, quantomeno, la nostra tripla era senz'altro più vecchia di noi! Molto spaziosa e luminosa e, per quanto grande, l'aria condizionata efficace. Un po'instabile la temperatura dell'acqua, attenzione per chi ha bambini piccoli, e il sapore dell'acqua sa di tubi vecchi, ma poi le bottigliette dal minibar non ci sono state fatte pagare.

We stayed here for 2 nights with a bus tour group. The location is a bit out of Lucca but in a very picturesque location. There was a pool and pretty garden areas but we were unable to use the pool because of very short hours. The main villa is very beautiful and common areas were interestingly decorated. Our room was in the annex and was small with trees right outside the window. The decor was very dated and the bedspread looked like it was from the 1970's. The room was dark and uninviting but appeared clean. The shower/tub worked well and the bathroom had better lighting. We had dinner here one night with our tour and the food was not very good. Service took forever, and I gave up on dessert and went to bed over sitting there for more than 2 1/2 hours. Breakfast was decent with a lot of choice, but the room was crowded with a poor layout for serving. It was a unique location but rooms could use a major overhaul.

Ein wirklich gutes B&B in einer wirklich schönen alten Villa mit einer vielfälltigen grossen Parkanlage. Der Pool ist riesig. Es hat auch bei Vollauslastung genügend Platz. Die Chefin ist ausserordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit; die Angestellten immer zuvorkommend. Wir hatten unseren Hund dabei, was absolut problemlos war. Das wunderschöne Lucca ist mit dem Auto in 10 Minuten zu erreichen; Pisa, Meer und viele tolle Restaurants sind nahe. Ein abolutes Must ist hierbei das Restaurant La Cecca.

Erster Eindruck war sehr nett, aber als wir die "Junior Suite" bezogen und dabei zwei einfache Doppelzimmer antrafen, waren wir eher enttäuscht. Weiter gehts, dass die antiken wunderschönen Möbel in der Lobby verstaubt sind. Der Höhepunkt war dann eine Party im Garten (ohne Ankündigung) Lärm durch Lautsprecher bis in die Nacht hinein.... Sowas gehört sich nicht für ein solches Hotel!!!
