We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and can confirm the positive reviews from others. The hotel is situated in a quiet part of the walled city but minutes from the main attractions and numerous restaurants. It has been tastefully modernised internally and rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast is a delight with fresh fruit, quality pastries, cereals and also hot options. The staff are uniformally excellent. During our stay all staff were charming, very friendly, professional and keen to be as helpful as possible, whether on the front desk or serving at breakfast. Other hotels could learn a lot from them.

Outstanding hotel in all respects. Location is central yet quiet. Rooms lovely, spacious, and very comfortable, breakfast (included) excellent with wide variety of hot and cold foods and the best coffee we had in Europe. Staff are exemplary - always friendly and helpful. We spent three weeks travelling in Italy and this was by far the very best hotel we stayed in.

What an absolute amazing place to stay while in Lucca. It is located centrally so you are within walking distance of everything. Access to the wall is close by and it’s a beautiful walk. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the service staff is great. We were late for breakfast one morning and they still offered us a small but satisfying meal. We can’t wait to go back.

The hotel, a 13th restored palazzo, near the center of Lucca, was welcoming, very modern in design and the staff excellent. For a guest, nothing was too much trouble. It was a pleasure to open the shutters of our room and see and hear Lucca waking up. There was a vast array of delicious breakfast dishes, fruit and savory for all tastes. Guests with food allergies would not have to be anxious. Transport to and from Pisa Airport was arranged by the hotel and proved very efficient.

This is an excellent hotel with great staff in a central and quaint location, so it’s perfect for exploring, while delightful to come back to the hotel. It has nice decor, a fantastic breakfast buffet, comfortable sitting areas, book exchange, etc. We were very happy here!

Os funcionários extremamente gentis e cordiais. Apesar de estar localizada no centro histórico, o hotel possui estacionamento para os hóspedes (mediante reserva). O café da manhã tinha uma excelente apresentação, além de ter variedade.

This is a beautiful hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly. The breakfast was great. The location was perfect. I would have loved to stay for longer. The room was comfortable. This was one of my favorite hotels in Italy during my multiple trips there. I will come back whenever we return to Lucca.
