B&B in a very good position two steps from the Lucca walls,the rooms are clean and comfortable,(a big is very beautiful) good breakfast,the owner is kind and careful providing us with gluten free breakfast for my wife. Positive experience in everything if I had to go back to Lucca I would still stay here.

Loved this property. Couldn’t ask for better with the location. We walked to everything. Lucca is not huge but it was good to be in a spot that was fairly quiet at night. We were there for 4 nights that went over a weekend. There was a bar at the end of the street where a LOT of people gathered and there was noise from there but the minute the window was closed you could not really hear them. It was hot weather but the room was cool even with the windows shut so all good. There are restaurants and cafes close by and it is a short walk to the Piazza Anfiteatro where you are spoilt for dining options. Our room, Flora, was big. The bed was very comfortable, water was hot, WiFi was good and there is a fridge. The establishment itself is quiet. We couldn’t hear other guests at all. The included breakfast is very good. Plenty to choose from and should suit everyone. It set us up for the day. The only thing we would have liked was having access to make a cup of tea outside of breakfast hours. Not a complaint but it would have been nice. We didn’t have a car so I can’t comment on the parking area but it was an easy taxi ride from Lucca station. The hosts were amazing. Very helpful and friendly.we would definitely recommend a stay here.

We stayed for 4 nights in Pisa at the Hotel La Pace. Pisa is a very interesting city, clean with some great eating places. Also very good for anyone with a gluten intolerance. We stayed at the Hotel La Pace which deserves 5 stars. Clean, friendly staff and great breakfast. we did experience a couple of 'drop outs' with the Wifi but that is the only negative thing about this hotel.

GGuest UserFantastic hotel, from the moment we arrived to our departure the service was impeccable. Upon arrival we were informed of the free happy hour(s) and snack time for my kids and the good news just kept on coming. Once we had checked in I turned round to retrieve my suitcases and they were already in my room. Alessandro, who worked on reception, was amazing, not only did he recommend where to eat he also telephoned the restaurant for reservations. I have to say that my favourite restaurant was Osteria Via Elisa. Alessandro was very approachable with a business and funny attitude, he is definitely a credit to the hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are clean and spacious, there's a lovely terrace where we ate breakfast. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, the buffet caters for all tastes and diets, the waiters were polite, asked me every morning if I wanted a coffee. Bonus...hot tub was just what I needed after walking around Lucca all day, we reserved our time and spent an hour soaking and relaxing....just missed a glass of Prosecco! Also the hotel offers free bike hire which was great because we rode the length of the wall, its a shame that they didn't offer free bikes for kids but that is the only fault I can find for this hotel and then its only 4euros to hire bikes for kids around the corner. This hotel and its staff are 5 star quality, a gem of a hotel close to everything, we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and didn't want to leave. Thank you.

GGuest UserWe have just stayed here for 1 week and it was absolutely amazing! Such a rustic Italian villa with all the amenities you would need. If you want authentic, family feel, peaceful, relaxed atmosphere within a 10 minute drive into Lucca and central to visit all other Tuscan regions, then this is your place! The staff here are so helpful, kind, really do care and want you to be happy and get what you want and need. The restaurant is open for breakfast, for lunch for snacks and if you fancy that added extra something special the restaurant is open in the evening, almost fine dining style with some very good food. The pool is so close to the rooms and enjoyable to sit by and chill. The pool is not heated and would imagine in the summer the sun warms it up. We were there is May and although a bit cold when first walking in, after lying in the warm sun it served to cool you down. The grounds are beautiful and the setting of the villa is so picturesque. They have e-bikes and mopeds available to hire and always willing to advise re days out, train times and order taxis etc Lucca train station is only 10 mins away 20 euro one way. There is lots of parking if hiring a car. The hotel is a a 28 min drive from Pisa Airport but you could arrange a taxi (maybe pricey tho around 70- 90 euro), if having a car you can easily find way round local area with google maps or access the train station and you can take trips to Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Siena and many more places to see. We were sad to leave the hotel Villa staff as all have been wonderful. We will definitely return and also recommend to stay here

What a weird experience! The outdoors are quite charming, it is just a shame that the garden was messy (stuff laying on the floor, it didn't look appealing). The check-in was one of the fastest ever seen: the woman just ran from the reception to the house/rooms, we were struggling to follow her with our heavy suitcases. She made it to the top floor, with us way behind, and just opened quickly the door and that was it: no words, no explanation, nothing, just a weird vibe. At first, the room seemed fine, but when I came in the bathroom: hair everywhere: in the sink, in the shower, the doorframe.... It got worse once I entered the showered an I could see the black joints, and more hair. How gross. We were only staying for 1night and during that time our bed broke 2 times: the wooden battens under the bed just fell out, out of nowhere. Can you imagine sleeping and boom! Bed is on the floor. In the morning, we took the breakfast in an underground room with very small windows. Breakfast was ok. When we mentioned our issues, no reaction from the manager (?) in place. When we checked out, I mentioned the issue to the cleaning lady who just got a bit crazy, she entered the room, grabbed the hole in the shower bare hands to check God knows what, and she just flipped over the entire bed, mattress, to check the wooden battens (1 was missing), and she continued to flipped over everything in the room: the carpet, the closet, the drapes.... That was SO WEIRD. Of course, when we raised our concerns to **********, the owner claimed that it was ”impossible” and that we were lying and refused to reimburse or give a discount... Too bad we had pictures, and ********** gave us a (too little) discount. When you pay 125€ a room, you expect at least some curtesy, which we didn't get. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

GGuest UserIn this living room I tried two out of three rooms: very large, spacious, equipped with everything, including coffee machine, boiler, caramels and a pleasant appetizer kit with potatoes and analcohol drink. We enjoyed it in the small garden furnished with tables and chairs, and impressed by small lamps and wires of sunlights. Then, by name and fact, the common bathroom and the private bathroom were well cleaned, provided with dispenser with shampoo, bathroom and even balsam. At the entrance a filtered water boiler always available to fill glasses and But the real girl in this place is the courtesy of Cristian, who provided us with photos with indications to reach the structure, photos to walk in the centre, information useful to dine out or for events in Lucca. In other words, very organized and always available for guests' requests. Interesting and comfortable self-checking! Recommended!!!! One note (Light is out of the walls): watch taxis if you have the train early morning: they don't accept bookings and We found no one available for arrival at the station 40 minutes earlier.

Lovely small hotel in a great location in Lucca. We picked Lucca as a visit spot bc there was a Marriott there (we were traveling on points) and BOY are we glad we did. Not only was the hotel great but we just fell in love with the town itself. But the hotel...modern and bright with a lively staff, it served as a wonderful refreshing spot for us to use as we explored Lucca. The rooms were quite small. But they were clean and modern and had everything we would need to be comfortable. Breakfast offered either a small buffet or menu service with healthy bountiful options. Prices were delightfully low at the hotel restaurant. Don't miss the opportunity to borrow bikes from the hotel to ride around the top of the wall. It was a highlight of our whole trip. Seeing Lucca from ”above” while in the shade and among Lucca's locals with their children, dogs or families, enjoying their circular circumferential park. Note that bikes are only offered until 6pm which is when the heat finally breaks and you WANT to go back outside (that was a bummer).

GGuest UserThe hotel is by the sea, the room by the sea is small, but the scenery is good. There is a Beijing restaurant 100 meters away. In addition, my friend hotel (amici imei) is expensive and not tasty, not recommended. The hotel provides parking spaces, 16 euros a night, just opposite the hotel public parking area, it is convenient.
