Sehr gut, wir haben in den letzten zwei Jahren viele Reisen gemacht und viele Hotels erlebt. Das Best Western Mannheim City zählt da mit Abstand zu den Besten . Tolles sauberes Zimmer mit Wohlfühlfaktor, Service super und freundlich, sehr hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück vielfältig und abwechslungsreich. Alles in allem klasse und dazu stimmt das Preis Leistung Verhältnis. Thomas und Gudrun

We arrived at the hotel after a long travel day in the early evening and the receptionist was very friendly, listened and gave us two nice rooms with views towards the city (rather than the station and rail-tracks). The rooms were clean and had amenities such as a kettle. What really rocked was the breakfast. An excellent choice of cold and warm, a very good handmade fruit-salad and bircher musli. As I am someone using the stairs rather than the elevator to do some steps, I really enjoyed the motivating messages on each floor of the staircase. Good idea! Overall great value for our money. Thank you so much for this wonderful stay, we will come back when the opportunity arises.

A Grave Disappointment at Leonardo Hotel Mannheim City Center... Having made reservations for a suite at the Leonardo Hotel Mannheim City Center for our stay from April 5th to April 7th, 2024, we were looking forward to a serene weekend break. Our booking was made on January 5th, 2024, ensuring that we planned well in advance for what was supposed to be a relaxing retreat. Imagine our astonishment when, merely a week before our arrival, we were bluntly notified that no rooms were available. This abrupt notice came as a complete surprise, especially considering our early reservation and the clear communications we had with the hotel subsequently. The hotel's sheer lack of initiative in offering us any alternative or solution was thoroughly disheartening. Our booking was summarily cancelled just days ahead of our intended visit, without any prior consultation or effort to accommodate us in any way. Though they stated there would be no extra charges due to the cancellation, this scant consolation does nothing to alleviate the profound inconvenience and utter lack of professionalism we encountered. I am profoundly disappointed by this experience. The absence of service was not just poor; it was completely lacking. This incident has entirely deterred me from considering a future stay at the Leonardo Hotel Mannheim City Center, and I strongly advise potential guests to reconsider their options. The failure to demonstrate any form of empathy, understanding, or competence in customer service throughout this ordeal was not just surprising; it was unacceptable. Sadly, it is clear that this establishment does not value its guests or their experiences.

Stayed here two nights for work and couldn’t fault it. Location is perfect - next to the train station. My bedroom was large and well equipped with good views over the city. The breakfast was very good - not a huge selection but everything you basically want. The on site stock was well stocked and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here next time I’m in the area for work

Facilities: The facilities are complete and the details are in place. Appliances are German brands. Hygiene: very clean. Environment: Located in the city center, travel is very convenient. Service: very friendly. There are no slippers in the room, you can contact the front desk if you need them.

I have been a few times in the sea, there is no nix to make. The early bag is very good, that is important for me. I could always invite known to breakfast in addition. The rooms are very clean.

Großes Haus in guter Lage. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer im dritten Stock war komfortabel, die Matratze schön fest. Die Kopfkissen sind nicht so toll aber davon gibt es genug, damit man es sich bequem machen kann. WLAN top. Das Badezimmer geräumig mit Wannendusche. Sauber war such alles. Das Frühstück war gut. Leider das Rührei aus dem Tetrapack - ist aber wohl mittlerweile Standard. Die gekochten Eier waren auf den Punkt perfekt. Aufschnitt beim Käse und der Wurst überschaubar. Besonders lecker und überraschend war der warme Milchreis mit Früchten.

The staff are all very nice. The room is spacious and you don't feel cramped. Overall, our stay was pleasant. We were also able to spontaneously book breakfast for individual days, which we hadn't booked. In our case, however, the cleanliness was not quite up to scratch. We canceled the daily cleaning service, which is a great offer as it isn't necessary for such a short stay. At the weekend, the room was still cleaned once. However, the room wasn't completely clean when we arrived. The bathroom doorknob was full of dust, the glasses that were put out for the bottle of water included in the price still had lipstick marks from the previous visitor, and there was a plucked hair with visible bits of skin hanging in the sink. We simply didn't use the glasses and cleaned the sink ourselves. The room itself and the bathroom were otherwise in decent condition. For its purposes, the price-performance ratio was overall satisfactory. People often ask whether everything is OK and you can voice your criticism directly if there are any problems.

The hotel is located near the motorway, which is why we have chosen the hotel for a night after a long drive. We did not take breakfast, for €16 per person we preferred to get something from the nearby baker. (We can only recommend it warmly!..;)) To the room: The room itself is a little older, especially the bath could once be able to rehabilitate. However, the bed is comfortable so we could get some recovery after the long drive.

Strakke, moderne kamer, goed en groot bed, mooie en nette badkamer met zeepdispensor en haardroger. In tegenstelling tot wat foto laat vermoeden ligt het in een vrij drukbereden straat. Prima parkeergelegenheid voor en onder het gebouw. Om de hoek kun je de tram nemen naar Heidelberg. Ontbijt is duur en gewoontjes. Decakoffie is enkel beschikbaar als oploskoffie. De accommodatie is oké, maar de sfeer is eerder onpersoonlijk.
