The room was reasonably comfortable and the hotel well located but totally spoilt by the noise level late into the night. All the bedrooms (both bottom and 2nd floors) overlook the dining area and one can hear everything. It was impossible to open the door or windows onto the bedroom deck because of the noise and lack of privacy. Breakfast involved individual ordering (no buffet) which made it impossible to get to the training venue on time. I would definitely not recommend this hotel if you are on business and require quiet and relaxation in the evenings.

If you’re visiting Zambia for a business trip, vacation or you just want to relax, El Elementos hotel is the place to be. Great delicacies, wonderful guest service, clean rooms and working AC system. Will make your stay worth it.

Looks good from outside but very very lacking service wise. Our room had such a repugnant smell when we checked in. Turns out they placed horrible smelling urinal cakes in the shower. We had to leave the room for them to clear up the smell- they didn’t have any extra rooms to move us. Next day we were moved to a different room where the air conditioning did not work at all and we couldn’t open the door (there are no windows and it was mosquitos season in Lusaka). Internet was also a problem.
