Worst travel experience ever. Dirty and unsafe. The room wasn't clean when I arrived (after 4pm): used bed sheets and towels full garbage can. One of the blinders was broken and the kitchen table was about to break (hard to work when the table is bobbling so hard). Finally to top thing off, I was locked inside the room for hours because the electric lock was brocken. I missed business meetings because the Support team couldn't care less (it doesn't feel good when you keep calling to be able to get out and the Support agent just tells you "don't worry, someone will come today"). This place is not safe - imagine being locked in the room if there is a fire or other safety hazard. Of course they are no longer responding and are refusing to refund me. To be avoided entirely.

Can't understand all the negative reviews. We arrived and having been sent our entry code found it really easy to enter the property and room. People have to understand there are no keys so don't try and get a key from the key safe. The room was large clean and comfortable and we have had a wonderful stay. Perfectly situated near all attractions all within walking distance.

C’était probablement la pire expérience de location d’appartement de ma vie. Rien n’allait. A mon arrivée, il m’a fallu plus d’une demie-heure pour entrer dans l’immeuble. Évidement quand j’ai essayé de les appeler, personne n’était en mesure de m’aider. Arrivée dans ma chambre, j’ai pu découvrir l’état lamentable des meubles et équipements. Vu le prix de la semaine, cela est très décevant. Mais le pire dans tout ça est que pendant ma semaine de location un intrus a pu entrer dans mon appartement quand j’étais dans la salle de bain! En entendant la porte s’ouvrir j’ai essayé de la bloquer mais impossible (j’étais moins forte que l’homme) Cette homme me dit venir pour faire des travaux et avait reçu le code d’accès à ma chambre, ALORS QUE JE LOGEAIS LÀ TOUTE LA SEMAINE!!! L’angoisse, j’aurais pu être nue ou occupée à dormir (a préciser qu’il était 20h et que j’étais seule) De plus, l’appartement ne dispose pas de verrou intérieur. Après cet événement, je n’ai absolument pas réussi à dormir pendant les 3 nuits qui me restaient. Évidement, j’ai essayé de contacter le servir client pour me plaindre de la situation et j’ai eu droit à une excuse qui manquait profondément de sincérité. Je suis encore choquée de cette expérience mais voyant les autres avis, je pense ne pas être la seule à avoir vécu un enfer au SmartFlats Design.

Hello, me and my partner had an issue with the booking made for Smartflats Luxembourg, for 30 sept-7 oct. On arrival date, the apartment door had an issue and couldn't be opened, neither their information sent by email to open the 2 front doors of the building did not work properly, and they only sent 2 of the 3 door codes. We have spent 2 hours trying to contact them, trying to call on the 3 contact numbers on which they could not be reached and when we finally found someone on their online app chat they said they have to cancel the booking without explanation, as they had this issue before and couldn't send anyone at the location to solve the issue on late Saturday. In the end they cancelled the booking anf got a full refund but we spent 2 hours in the night to enter their flat and afterwarda had to book another room at a nearby hotel at 3 AM in the morning. Awful service and incomplete information!!!

La pire experience vécue dans un hôtel ! Tout d'abord il faut savoir qu'il n'y a personne pour nous accueillir (ce qui est normal puisque c'est le principe de ce genre d'hôtel). En soit, ce n'est pas un problème à la condition que tout soit fait de manière sérieuse (ce qui n'est absolument pas le cas ici). Lors du check-in, il nous est transmis par message 2 codes d'accès, sauf qu'il en faut 3(ben oui sinon ç'est pas drôle). Le premier permet de rentrer dans un petit hall, jusque-là ça va. Pour rentrer dans le grand hall il nous faut un 2e code, pas de bol, on ne l'a pas. 1er appel à smartflats, ils nous disent qu'ils vont se renseigner...pas de nouvelles pendant un très long moment. Coup de chance, un couple(qui a eu le même problème que nous cela dit en passant) rentre dans le bâtiment, nous donne en passant le code. Arrivé devant la porte de notre appartement, on se dit enfiiiiiiinnnnnn ! Ben non. Le code est pourtant bon mais le cylindre de la porte, qui est aussi électronique, ne fonctionne pas. Ça c'est balo ! 2e appel à smartflats. La dame nous dit qu'elle va contacter le responsable blablabla. S'ensuit une période d'environ 3h à attendre devant la porte qu'on nous trouve une solution. Malgré de multiples appels, rien ne se passe. L'opératrice se moque éperdument de nous, nous balade, en gros ne sert à rien. Nous arrivons enfin à rentrer, par miracle à force de bidouiller le code, le cylindre. Nous en profitons pour rentrer, car nous ne souhaitons pas dormir dehors. Mais en refaisant l'expérience, le miracle ne se reproduit pas. On se dit tant pis, on reste quand même, on verra demain si on nous trouve une solution. Mais surprise, le sommier du lit est à moitié cassé 😢. Nous continuons d'appeler smartflats mais plus de réponse. Booking par qui nous sommes passés pour la réservation ne sert à rien, ne nous aide pas. Bref c'est ce qui s'appelle se faire en.....! On avait prévu 3 nuit, on en a fait une sur le matelas au sol... Ne jamais passer par eux, la meilleure chose à faire si vous partez quelques jours au Luxembourg !

Malheureusement on n'était très décu, car l'appartement était très sale et le necessaire pou le nettoyer n'était pas fait, malgré notre envois des photos sur une adresse whatsapp (car pas de réception). Aprés trois jours l'equipe de nettoyage est venu pour dire ils ne peuvent plus nettoyé l'appartment car on était déjà trois jours dedans. Les appels et mails sont restés presque tous sans réponse. On plus on parle à chaque fois à qn d'autre et l'un savait pas ce que l'autre a déjà promis. Le matelas était trÈs taché (gros tache jaune), on nous ont dit qu'un echange n'est pas possible, car rien en stock etc. On est resté quand même 14 jours. Car le vol de retour était annulé on était obligé de partir une nuit plustot. On nous a accordé un rebmboursement d'une nuit, exeptionellement, à cause de tous les ennuis, mais malheureuesment on attent toujours. Et car rien était noté, c'est toujours pas fait.

I received the code for the front door and the lockbox. However the lockbox code was incorrect. Luckily someone answered the whatsap number pretty quickly (only messages, no calls possible) Someone was walking out while we needed to access the second door so no code was needed. When we arrived home at around 19:15, we quickly discovered that we had not been sent a code for the middle door. We knocked, we buzzed every other unit with no luck. Of course we sent desperate messages to the whatsap number, still with no response and it's now 8:41am. Finally on one of the email addresses someone responded with the magic code. I had already walked outside the building on knocked on windows until a lady inside gave us the code, but she said it happens all the time in the building. Then, we started looking for tea cups and pans etc for breakfast and the stuff is disgusting and dirty😭

La posizione è comoda perché vicino al centro e la stanza è ok. Cattivo odore in bagno e letto scomodo. Barboni che si drogano notte e giorno nell'androne dell'edificio (non sicuro per tornare la sera). Dulcis in fundo: i signori di smartflats prelevano la cauzione dalla carta di credito e non la ridanno più, ho sollecitato almeno 10 volte tra telefonate e messaggi. Consiglio a chiunque di evitare questo posto.

As discussed over the phone, I request a full refund in regards to my booking. I did not use the second night I booked at all, because the lock on the door stopped working - it could only be opened by the master key from the maintenance worker that came to help me at 11:00 on 17 June. Furthermore, the apartment was infested by ants, missing towels, had visible damage on the wall paint, and your call center representative who finally answered on my 20th call only after *********** contacted you was incredibly rude and blamed me for not calling (which I did so many times without success). Please find attached pictures of the state of the apartment when we moved in. All in all, it was an absolute nightmare. The lock on the door was not working when we came back from our wedding in the early morning on 17 June. The so called "24/7 emergency" number has noone answering even after staying on the line for hours. I will rate Smartflat 0 stars on every possible website unless something is done to compensate me.
