Great Hotel, but if you're coming solo enter through the back, it was hard to find from the street if you don't speak German! Great staff! And make sure you learn some Deustche

Great location -- I mean great. Not only are you on the river facing the Chapel Bridge (most photographed structure in Luzern) but the walk to old town, the other bridges, food, activities - it's all right there! Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. The restaurant was excellent and setting for breakfast overlooking the river is amazing. We paid extra for a balcony overlooking the river and bridge -- worth it !

What a little gem in the most perfect location. We walked from the train station to the hotel in about 7 minutes. Centrally located with lots of restaurants and pubs. We got vouchers for breakfast each morning . The bed and pillows were so cozy and room was newly renovated. Thanks for a wonderful say Hotel Des Alps!

Dieses sehr hübsche Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, mit toller Sicht auf die Kapellbrücke. Das Zimmer im 3. Stock war sehr sauber mit schönem neuem Badezimmer. Das ganze Personal war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und frisch. Die Vouchers waren eine angenehme Ueberraschung für uns. Wir haben ein ausgezeichnetes Essen genossen und wurden freundlichst bedient. Wir kommen gerne wieder und bedanken uns für die freundliche und herzliche Gastfreundschaft.

Fantastic overpriced restaurant. Great location facing the river and covered bridge. The rooms are very small and the room needed some repairs. Shower was frustrating to use.

Vom Empfang, der tollen Aussicht vom Zimmer, dem Willkommensgruss über das geniale Frühstück ein gelungener Aufenthalt im Hotel des Alpes. Sehr empfehlenswert. Der einzige Wermutstropfen sind die massiv überteuerten Parkplätze (für nicht mal 24 Stunden CHF 52.00!!!)

This hotel is at a great area where you can find shopping and eateries right outside the door. And the view-can't get much better than this. Comfortable bed, very friendly attendants, actually everyone we came in contact with at both the hotel and restaurant were great. It is extremely pricey in Switzerland so know before you go. Just a short walk to the bus and train station as well.
