Great Hotel, but if you're coming solo enter through the back, it was hard to find from the street if you don't speak German! Great staff! And make sure you learn some Deustche

We had an outstanding stay at Hotel Des Alpes. Check-in was easy and they had a place to store our bags while we wandered Luzern before we checked in. The hotel has a lift. The breakfast was good, nothing outstanding but very solid. Staff was very accommodating. The shower had good pressure and hot water, and was plenty large. While the room wasn't the largest we stayed in on this vacation, it had plenty of room. Beds were very comfortable. The view from the balcony was outstanding. It was a little expensive, but it's Switzerland, and in my opinion was well worth it.

This hotel is a real gem in the most perfect and convenient location. We walked from the train station to the hotel just a few minutes, super comfortable beds , really good food at the restaurant and excellent front desk service! I will definitely come back!

We checked in around 8:30pm. There was just one person who was bar tending as well as checking guests in. The guy was polite, helpful and friendly however really surprised that the hotel only had one staff member doing so much.
Right after check in, we had dinner in the main dining hall by the water. The waitress in the main dining area was absolutely horrendous. Unprofessional and rude.
There was no hotel parking. We had to park in public parking about 10 mins away.

Great location -- I mean great. Not only are you on the river facing the Chapel Bridge (most photographed structure in Luzern) but the walk to old town, the other bridges, food, activities - it's all right there! Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. The restaurant was excellent and setting for breakfast overlooking the river is amazing. We paid extra for a balcony overlooking the river and bridge -- worth it !

What a little gem in the most perfect location. We walked from the train station to the hotel in about 7 minutes. Centrally located with lots of restaurants and pubs. We got vouchers for breakfast each morning . The bed and pillows were so cozy and room was newly renovated. Thanks for a wonderful say Hotel Des Alps!

Dieses sehr hübsche Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, mit toller Sicht auf die Kapellbrücke. Das Zimmer im 3. Stock war sehr sauber mit schönem neuem Badezimmer. Das ganze Personal war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und frisch. Die Vouchers waren eine angenehme Ueberraschung für uns. Wir haben ein ausgezeichnetes Essen genossen und wurden freundlichst bedient. Wir kommen gerne wieder und bedanken uns für die freundliche und herzliche Gastfreundschaft.
