The rooms are very clean, pretty and modern. Everybody who works here, especially the gentleman who is the Valet, is super nice and accommodating. We had our anniversary dinner in the steakhouse and it was a 10 out of 10 experience everybody was genuinely kind and the food was delicious. Definitely try the whipped potatoes.

A huge shout out to Hamilton that works at The Virginian! He went above and beyond his job duties! I told him I had an allergy to walnuts, and he made sure to find me and let me know that walnuts were in the muffins for breakfast! Thank you again Hamilton!!

This was our fourth trip to the Virginian and it always exceeds our expectations. Jonathon and Seneca are there to greet you with a smile and ensure your car is well taken care of. Laura is at the front desk and makes sure the entire check-in and check-out process goes smooth. The entire staff has a smile on their face and you feel as if you are their number in priority.

This is one of the nicest hotels in which I have stayed. The decor is tasteful and elegant. The rooms and bathrooms are well equipped, including bath robes to use, a small microwave, and a small fridge. Hilton Honors members get free waters which are replaced as used. The bed was very comfortable. I also enjoyed the relaxing library. The service was also excellent. I look forward to returning.

I like nice hotels, let me start with this. The Virginian met my expectations and was all that my friends and family said it would be. I loved how they used the old with its beautiful woodwork, marble, and accommodations. The rooms were simple but elegant and extremely clean. The updated bath was just lovely. The robes provided were so comfy and such a nice touch. Best of all were the staff.. I want to mention Johnthan and Seneca and John H and John and the lovely girls at the front desk, too! Yep, I spent one night and met all of these people that made an impression on me! I was also staying alone and I felt so safe.Breakfast was superb. I look for for my next excuse to stay there! Thank you Virginia for a great stay.

Great hotel and great old little Virginia city. Jonathan and Seneca take great care with the guests and cars. Everyone is professional and friendly. The restaurants are good breakfast is very good. Rooms are a little small but excellent in the renovation of the history.

Boutique-like vibe, very clean room, with a comfortable bed. The rooms are quiet and are nicely appointed. The staff members are friendly and helpful. We’ve stayed in other area hotels, including other ones downtown. The Virginian remains our favorite.
