"Fourth and worst hotel we’ve stayed at in Lynchburg. ☹️ We had high hopes, but this hotel smells old and musty all throughout. We spent as little time as possible in it because we were so worried about the mold smell (I’ve traveled all over Asia so my tolerance is pretty high). One elevator was broken, and the working one felt super rickety. Nothing felt fresh or clean about the hotel — it’s all old and very used feeling. The shower worked on and off. Honestly we kept comparing our experience at the Lynchburg Grand to a motel we stayed at in Lynchburg once. It felt like we paid 3 times the price of a motel for a motel-ish experience. We stayed at the Holiday Inn last time we were in Lynchburg and seriously regretted not staying there again. Stay elsewhere if possible, this place isn’t worth the hype or money."
