We chose this hotel because its location and it did not disappointed us. Its a but old and decoration could be better. Staff super kind! We will come back

Lyon is a lovely city. We will be back, but sadly not to this hotel. The good is that with one exception the staff were lovely and helpful, and it was very good of them to speak English. Also, unlike other reviewers, the standard room was quite large enough for two in our opinion, and the space very well designed. The downside was that the reception area and breakfast room were building sites, and the bar serving both functions instead. I am pleased we did not book breakfast as it would not have been a good experience. Sadly, the refurbishment work meant no air con in rooms with sealed windows. There was no indication of any of this on the hotel website. The room was very hot with no fresh air. It was a shame.

+ : Un hôtel très bien situé au cœur de la ville . Un parking proche bien pratique à 25€ la journée avec le badge de l’hôtel . Un petit déjeuner sympa et bien garni . - : … pour un hôtel 4 étoiles : une chambre minuscule côté rue avec fenêtres condamnées et climatisation pas encore en service alors qu’il faisait 28 degrés à Lyon ce week end !!! Une chambre qui se transforme en Sauna !!!! Irrespirable …. Pas d’eau dans les chambres et du café en poudre avec une bouilloire !!! Bref : il n’y aura pas de prochaine fois !!…….

Très bien situé à quelques pas de la zone piétonne. Parking à proximité. Très bonne literie mais nous avons eu une chambre très petite et avec une chaleur insupportable. En effet, le soleil tape sur les vitres toutes la journée et ils enclenchent pas la ventilation avant avril... Je trouve aussi très dommage qu'on ne puisse pas ouvrir les fenetres, changer d'air. On nous a donné un ventilo chose appréciable. Le petit déjeuner est très correct également. Jus de fruits frais, boissons aromatisées, bon choix de viennoiseries.

The room was very small with just a twin bed. I did not understand the thermostat, and it did not seem to have any effect on the temperature of the room. There wasn't a countertop around the sink, just a few inches on the sides, making it difficult to balance things as I tried to get ready. The small nightstand was oddly shaped, and everything I put on top of it slid off onto the floor. On the positive side, the breakfast was good.

I went to a business travel where I had the hotel booked by my company. My experience with Mercure has always been good in all senses. However, this hotel was bad. First of all, it took 30 min to check in. There was only one employee at the reception when we arrived, and it was 7 pm. There was one person checking in and it took forever. Secondly, the room is tiny, literally, tiny. I have feeling that what was supposed to be 1 room, they made 4. There was like half of the window which was impossible to open. Last but not least, the breakfast was really disappointing and not worth 20 euros. There are many coffee places around the hotel where you will be better served.
