This is a great hotel for location in central Lyon. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby and a short stroll to the river or up to the Basilica. Breakfast is a little basic but that's reflected in the price. For a work trip it was just what was needed.

A nice little hotel in an ideal location. Many shops and cafes on this street and only about 2 blocks from Place Bellecour. Gare Perrache is at the other end of the street. Everyone at the reception desk spoke English but they were patient with my efforts to speak French! Lyon is a wonderful city to visit and I will visit it again. Try to speak some French. They are proud of their beautiful language and appreciate the effort, even if they have to eventually switch to English.

Excellent location on Victor Hugo (one of the main commercial pedestrian zones) just seconds away from Place Bellecour and minutes from old city, best place to stay if you are planning to walk and explore the city on foot. We took a quad room, that was apparently recently renewed, everything was recent, bathrooms were fully renewed and the furniture was modern (there are a few classical rooms according to the hotel staff). The staff is very nice, welcoming and helpful, we were given our room 2 hours before check-in time (thankfully it was available), of course they also give you the possibility to leave your luggage in a locked room on departure day should you still need to wander around. Rooms are cleaning, cleaning service is efficient and rooms are pretty well soundproofed, we had a nice balcony with direct view on the Victor Hugo street, without being bored by the outside noise. Breakfast is available for 10€, but we have not tried it, reception is available 24/7, and usually the hotel prices are more competitive than anything you can find on other booking websites. I highly recommend for a trip in Lyon (and I also recommand to anybody who hasn't been there to visit Lyon)

Hotel super bien situé dans la rue piétonne entre perrache et bellecour où vous trouverez les transports pour des déplacements simples! Bonne isolation côté rue quand les fenêtres sont fermées mais il peut faire un peu chaud la nuit... Chambre et literie correctes MAIS propreté à revoir (poussières sur les bords de fenêtres, sur plinthes et moulures, sur la tête de lit, sur la poubelle de wc, cheveux dans la sdb, les rideaux sont gris sale au lieu de blancs et grille de ventilation poussiéreuse...). A noter que la couette des lits est juste tirée le matin sans même reborder le drap de dessous. Changement des serviettes de toilette chaque jour, TB. Petit déjeuner varié (salé, sucré) mais sans originalité, et identique chaque jour. Du pain frais de campagne ou baguettes seraient bienvenus plutôt que des petits pains individuels inadaptés au petit dej. Mais pour 10 euro, très correct. Total 3 nuits pour 3 avec petit dej, 480 euro. Globalement satisfaits quand même !
