This was, I think at least our 5th stay at this lovely hotel in the heart of Lyon. The staff is Always very gracious and wonderful, and the owner Laurent is very attentive, as he is often there, serving breakfast and talking with the guests. We have one snafu, which was resolved the best way possible, so no need to go into detail, as it was likely due to a newer staff member's misunderstanding of the situation. Oriana, who has been there for at Least the last 3 stays, is Always pleasant, and helpful. We will stay here Every time we visit Lyon, if there is a room available!!

Mon séjour à l'hôtel des Célestins a été agréable. Je regrette néanmoins bien vivement l'attitude de la dame de l'accueil : dès mon arrivée, elle m'a demandé de régler la chambre. Cela ne s'était jamais produit auparavant, la règle étant que l'on paye le jour de son départ. Je ne sais pas pourquoi mais cette personne n'était visiblement pas en confiance avec moi. Cela m'a mise mal à l'aise durant tout mon séjour (3 nuits au lieu de 4). Sinon, j'ai apprécié l'emplacement de cet hôtel dans un quartier bien agréable à vivre. Mon appréciation se situe entre le Moyen et le Très bien mais cette possibilité n'est pas proposée.

Hôtel très bien situé c’est parfait , la première impression est décevante avec une réception à l’étage .
Nous avons eu soucis avec le coffre fort rapidement résolu par l’hôtel.
Le grand problème est l’absence du kit d’urgence dans les chambres ou au moins à la réception , nous avons sollicité la réception suite à une brûlure par de l’eau chaude vers 8 heures , on nous a orienté vers la pharmacie de garde faute de kit d’urgence . NB la réception ferme à 22h !!!!

Excellent séjour dans cet hotel très bien situé à 2 pas de la place des célestins, de la place Bellecour, du vieux-Lyon.Ma maman et moi avons été très bien accueillies et accompagnées lors de notre séjour par des jeunes filles très professionnelles. Excellent petit déjeuner dans une très jolie pièce. Chambre confortable et très propre. Chauffage au top dans la salle de bain, de vrais gobelets (merci de ne pas proposer ces immondes verres en plastique). Tout était au top. Nous reviendrons avec le plus grand des plaisirs

Very pleasant, charming and cosy hotel, with friendly service. It is excellently located in the centre of Lyon. The hotel has a lot of character with a lot of artwork and older wooden furniture. My room was great: comfortable and very clean, charming with a wooden desk and even some books on the shelf. Small detail, but I was impressed with all the electrical outlets in my room! This was very useful as I was on a business trip. The breakfast was small but plentiful.

L’hôtel est très bien situé, proche des avenue à commerçantes, du théâtre des célestins et de la vielle ville. La suite junior offre un bel espace rénové pour un prix correct. L’équipe d’accueil est sympa. L’accès aux chambres est un peu exigu par un petit ascenseur. Et le buffet de déjeuner bien que varié est peu limité au niveau pain viennoiseries

Very nice place, well centered, very warm welcome, I recommend a room behind and not above the street. Food was also very good. Rooms are small but very clean, you feel being at home! We will come again for our next visit. Thanks again for this so friendly welcome

Un personnel sympathique et une très bonne expérience dans l’ensemble . Le petit déjeuner est copieux, la chambre était chaleureuse et la literie parfaite . C’est un hôtel très bien situé que je recommande à toute personne désirant passer quelques jours à Lyon .

We stayed here for a nighr during our December trip. The location is great, mostly walking or metro ride to most places. Hotel is clean and well kept. The hotel front desk staff is very helping and welcoming, we had a great chat with the person there about more than Lyon.. They helped with local city travel ideas and dinner plans.
