We found this lovely French hotel by accident. The hotel we thought we had reserved was booked up and they sent us to Hotel Lyon Ainay, where Massimo at the front desk took such good care of us. Although the hotel did not have an elevator, he joked and told us he had no need of a gym and carried our cases up for us. He recommended a great restaurant for dinner, Cafe Michelin, which we loved. Massimoro took time with us to discuss places for us to visit. The breakfast was great. Everything was fresh. They had everything from eggs to croissants, cheeses, meats, yogurt, etc and really great coffee. Massimo took our post cards and got stamps for them, then mailed them for us. We had an exceptional white wine from Carcassonne. The rooms have been renovated and are quite nice. We loved Lyon and if we ever come back we will come to HotelLyon Ainay.😃

J'ai choisi cet hôtel parmi les critiques données précédemment. Je n'ai pas été déçu. En fait, j’irais jusqu’à dire que les critiques sont loin d’être assez bonnes. Quel hôtel fantastique. Dès l'instant où nous sommes arrivés, un merveilleux accueil de la part du réceptionniste époustouflant. Dans notre chambre très confortable avec une carte de bienvenue personnelle. Rien n'était trop leur demander. Je n'hésiterais pas à donner à cet hôtel la plus haute recommandation. Réservez-le, vous ne serez pas déçu. Pour couronner le tout, l'emplacement est parfait pour visiter la belle ville de Lyon.

Une très belle adresse. Des hôtes exceptionnels et aux petits soins. Très bon petit déjeuner. A proximité (et à pied) de tous les centres d'intérêts. Sinon tous les moyens de transport (train, métro, bus, tram)se trouvent également à côté (2 mn).

J'ai été chaleureusement accueillie par le réceptionniste.
Il a répondu à mes attentes avec bonne humeur et convivialité.
L'hôtel est très bien situé, tout proche de la gare.
La chambre était calme.
La literie est confortable.
La chambre était également propre.
Je suis satisfaite de mon séjour à l'hôtelo Lyon Ainay.

The hosts- Olivier, Massimo and Claudia made us feel so welcome on our recent trip to see the France England rugby game. Really helpful in making us acquainted with the area, lovely room with comfy bed and a super location for getting everywhere. Breakfast was buffet style with calm jazz piano playing in the background- this little hotel really punches above its weight and I would stay again.

... non en fait c'était génial ! ( Titre volontairement accrocheur ) Voyage en famille, pour retrouver une autre famille également à l'hôtel, en condition de fête des lumières de Lyon. Je n'utilise jamais les superlatifs. Et pourtant nous n'avons jamais été aussi bien accueillis que dans cet hôtel. Avec deux bébés autour de nous, le personnel a été d'une gentillesse rare, de l'accueil jusqu'au patron de l'hôtel, du soir jusqu'au petit déjeuner. Une expérience 5 étoiles. Bravo et merci.

Sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Es ist persönlich und familiär, da das Hotel nicht groß ist. schöne Atmosphäre, gutes Frühstück und sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Alles fußläufig zu erreichen und gute Restaurants sind auch in der Nähe. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis top.

Stayed for one night. Super friendly staff accompanied me to the hard to get to parking building next to the hotel. The next day they retrieved the car for me. Not a good hotel to stay it if you have a car. Our room was in the ground floor of a scary apartment building next to the hotel. A key FOB was needed to open 2 security doors before getting to the room. This "annex" location was not mentioned by *******.
