Nala Island Village

The host was very kind, the room was not luxurious but clean and had everything you need. The air conditioning worked well and it was comfortable.

After staying, the staff service was the best, but everything else was average, especially the accommodation conditions were quite different from other hotels on the island. I don’t recommend it very much.

Tiny but very friendly hotel - it's actually more of a guesthouse than a hotel proper. The first impression wasn't the best, but as the days went by, we got used to it. In fact, the whole island is quite simple... nothing luxurious. Room 204 was quite simple, but clean.

I give a dot because you can't get zero! A dilapidated structure that can be reached via a narrow street with an abandoned building under construction. Reception with ghost staff, check in at 2pm was actually done at 3.40pm. When we finally enter the room (in front of a sort of pond full of mosquitoes and ****s), we find stained sheets, hair in the bathroom, a dead insect on the floor and the very dirty air conditioner, probably NEVER cleaned in the history of the structure. Result? We run away after two hours. DO NOT TRUST THE PHOTOS ONLINE and stay away from this place.

Let's take a general tour to describe the room and island, at least you can save yourself and go elsewhere... Let's make a list of points: - Don't trust Guest Houses (poor cleanliness, non-existent services and very few are the acceptable ones). With a few euros difference you can go to a hotel where the quality is clearly superior. The one they had offered to us (for an exchange of services) was TERRIBLE and I won't say anything else otherwise the word terrible could cause offense. In fact we stopped working with this guesthouse and went to a nearby hotel. (Hotel View super recommended) - 80% of the island is under construction (alleys full of building waste, constant noise of bulldozers and construction equipment in the background) so don't imagine the usual Maldivian paradise but a construction site with a Carolina background. -The island has only 2 small beaches where you can swim in a bathing suit, you cannot swim on the remaining part of the island and honestly on a holiday island you don't expect this (you will find many signs pointing out this absurd fact). -Last but not least, ABSOLUTELY AVOID being fooled by organizers of travel-experiences (I won't name names but one resembles a road) where they make you go on excursions at crazy prices, terrible organizations and with support bases worthy of the Guantánamo prison camp, but find an organizer on the island to be able to take advantage of its many services at unimaginable prices and live one or more experiences to remember for a lifetime. Ps I'll close with one last piece of advice! Change island! Don't waste your lifelong dream by coming here!

Good in general, but the Wifi was down all the time (literally). The air conditioning didn't work properly and the fan in the room didn't turn on, which didn't help with the heat. Furthermore, breakfast has very limited options and is served directly on the plate, that is, it is not self-service like many hotels.
