"Had a great stay! Our room faced the ocean, with Bikini Beach right below – the photo was taken from our balcony at dusk. Compared to overwater bungalows on resort islands, the beachfront rooms here offer much better value for money. I'd recommend staying in a Kaani seaview room on a local island for your stay. They arranged our excursions perfectly, all departing from the local island. For the resort island part of our trip, we just wanted to relax in an overwater villa with a private pool. The service at Kaani was excellent, though it's a shame they don't have Chinese-speaking staff; communicating via WeChat was still fine. I'm a picky eater, but the breakfast selection was abundant. I didn't get used to the other food, but I was surprised to find Chinese self-heating hotpots on the island and bought a bunch! After staying on a resort island, I really feel Kaani offers incredible value for money."

"Good clean, safe budget hotel. Our room had a missing TV which wasn’t a big deal as the internet was good enough to stream. Beds comfortable. Rooms with fan and air con. Fridge and kettle in room, no cups or tea coffee provided but staff happy to give. You can ask for room cleaning and clean towels but this is not done automatically. The only criticism is that the owners arranged to collect us from airport but they never showed up. A very helpful man called him an hour later and he directed us to a public ferry to the island then we walked to hotel- luckily I made screen shots of the direction"

The place was clean, peaceful, and offered excellent privacy, which made our experience even more relaxing. The pool was a highlight — perfect for cooling off and spending some quiet time. A special thanks to Adeesha, who was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always made sure we had everything we needed. The staff overall were welcoming and respectful, but Adeesha really stood out with his warm hospitality. Highly recommended if you're looking for a comfortable, private, and relaxing stay on the island!"

Some of front office team were a bit rude with us on our arrival night which was not good for first impression.for checking also we had to wait long. Other things was fine!"

They provide a wide range of activities, including water sports, swimming with sharks, snorkelling, and much more. "Went for a mini vacation with two of my friends we booked two rooms for the three of us and rooms were Quite big tidy and clean as we expected. staff from the guest house were already on the harbour to receive us in a vehicle although it was a three to four minutes walk distance from the harbour. received a welcome drink in the lobby till we got our check-in procedure completed although our check-in time was at 12 we've arrived before that but didn't had to wait till 12 that was very nice. Staffs were friendly and helpful always had a smile on their faces. Would love to return again soon."

"Maafushi is quite large and well-developed for dining, entertainment, and activities. I heard there are two hotels that partner with Trip.com, and I've actually stayed at both. They're similar in price and located right next to each other. The first hotel I booked had a sea view room with a balcony that was extremely sunny. When I switched to this hotel, I booked a city view room and was very happy with it. It wasn't sunny at all, and I could still see the ocean. With the windows open, there was a great breeze, so I didn't even need to use the air conditioning. My 4-night stay was excellent, and I left a tip when I checked out."

"This was my first trip to the Maldives, and I chose Maafushi, the most accessible local island for excursions. I booked the Summer Maldives hotel, and Habib from the hotel met me at the speedboat jetty with a bottle of chilled mineral water and took me to the hotel. He arranged for me to have the best room, a sea-view room on the fourth floor (the highest floor), with the largest windows in the entire hotel. The room offered a stunning 180-degree panoramic sea view – it was absolutely beautiful! The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was delicious too."

"We booked 4 rooms in total, and 3 of them were upgraded free of charge, which was a pleasant surprise. The jetty is conveniently located right in front of the hotel, making transfers very easy. The hotel is very new, spacious, and well-maintained. Overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The best part of this hotel is the rooftop, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Maafushi Island. "We stayed in a quadruple room, which was spacious and well-suited for families—that was the one positive aspect of our stay. However, there were several disappointing experiences that future guests should be aware of. The airport transfer arranged by the hotel was poorly managed; we were left waiting at Malé Airport for nearly two hours with no clear communication or support. In hindsight, independent transfer providers like iCom not only charge less, but also offer better coordination and guidance. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was below expectations. We noticed small cockroaches, and despite raising the issue, there was no follow-up or effort from the hotel staff to address it. We also requested a late check-out, which was flatly responded to with a charge of $10 per hour—no flexibility or courtesy shown, even though the hotel was not fully booked at the time. Overall, while the room size was a plus, the lack of service, poor cleanliness, and rigid policies made this stay less than enjoyable. I would recommend considering other options nearby that offer better service and value for money."

"3 nights here was awesome. Hotel doesn't have its own reception so had to go to Kaani grand which is about 1 min away. No telephone in the room either. Breakfast, check in and checkout all done at kaani grand. There's no elevator which can be a huge inconvenience if you are travelling with people with mobility issues. Location is good, cafes are just at the doorsteps. Bikini beach is a minute walk away. Definitely a good place to stay"
