Amrâth Hotel DuCasque

I was unfortunate that the room that I paid extra for looked out not on to a nice square but a Christmas fair . This may look nice but the noise from the disco re-vibrated throughout the room as the windows were not sound proof, after that the bars had shouting and screaming until 3 am . If I knew about the fair , I would have booked somewhere else . I had to try and sleep during the day and on the 3rd evening I had to resort to sleeping in the bathroom to avoid the constant booming of the disco . The main thing about a room would be to have a good night’s sleep and this was not the case . At 67 years old I can say this was one of the worst stay that I had anywhere .

We traveled by train from Amsterdam and got the bus at Maastricht station to the hotel. Very easy and no fuss. This was our second stay and as before it was very nice. Rooms were clean and welcoming. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious and modern.

Bit dated but with all the mod cons. Reception clean and staff, especially owner Manon very helpful and pleasant. I stayed in a deluxe room 101 which was very clean, spacious with a little sit out balcony with table and chairs. Plenty of wardrobe space, large tv coffee maker and kettle, could have done with more tea, coffee biscuits etc. nice comfy chair and settee. Bathroom spacious but could have done with more lighting.

We really liked this hotel! It’s cute and cozy. Perfect location with so many restaurants and shopping in walking distance. The staff here are so friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

Very comfortable beds. Staff super friendly. Delicious buffet breakfast. Parking is available but expensive
