This Inn, while not being luxurious, gave exactly what was expected from Premier Inn, but a little bit more; not huge but quiet and away from town and the welcome from Chloe on reception made it feel like home from home. Well done her!

Family room much more spacious than I had expected. Cleanliness could not be faulted. Beds very comfortable. Service good. Food of a high standard available on site in cosy country pub.

From the moment you arrive at the hotel it is so disappointing, cant be helped but its at the rear, really grubby and untidy you feel like your going through the tradesman entrance, rooms were good, my evening meal and breakfast were just awful, lasagne was just dry the salad was a joke a few leaves of lettuce and a tomato , breakfast i had the full English cold bacon sausage , poached egg dry and cold, my party all felt the same and at £10.99!!! I wanted to complain but we were attending my sisters funeral an hour later and we weren’t in the mood Wont be staying again I’ve stayed at lots of Premier Inns my first disappointment

The bed is like a cloud. Great family too Lots of space. Kids beds comfy too. Breakfast was well worth £10.99 as kids eat free. Room was very clean. Plenty of towels. Tea/coffee/milk available. Pillows fluffy. Shower gel included. Very nice

I would recommend this Premier Inn friendly staff from check in to check out helpful service with a smile. Stay was wonderful everything you needed in the room. 5 Star from me for my stay. Would recommend a visit to the pub next door the Rising Sun.

I stayed her a couple of times this year. I found the rooms very clean and tidy. The staff who were there were all very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. It was very handy having the pub next door for meals including breakfasts. The guy on the desk John was very very helpful and I found this made my stay a far more enjoyable one.

Leading up to the reception along the pathway were several hundred cigarette ends, as if the whole ground floor rooms are smoking 20 a day and throwing them out of the windows. The cigarette ends were adorned with a beer bottle, to add to the panache. The reception are looks tired, there was a man behind the reception not in uniform, but in a bright green sweatshirt. He left us ignored for 7 minutes, neither looked up at us nor greeted us. A man,in uniform came through from along the corridor to book us in. The man in the green sweatshirt advised that he had managed to lock everyone out of the system. We again waited whilst various phone calls were made to get into the system. The uniformed man said he'd remembered our rooms and gave us the keys. The corridors were dirty, mud along the corridor and on the stairs, with a muddy footprint on the bottom of one door. The room was fine, the bed comfy, my showered adorned with a solitary public hair. Food next door was terrible. Went down for breakfast at 8.30, the waitress was sat having a sausage sandwich and two other staff were leaning on the bar using their phones. We were not asked if we wanted anything else from the unlimited cooked breakfast, no fresh fruit as advertised and no butter- just sunflower spread. On the plus side, we had a breakfast and glass of wine refunded.

Upon arrival, which was earlier than the normal check in time, our room was not quite ready but we were given a family room instead so we did not have to wait. Lewis was absolutely delightful and so helpful not just with ourselves but other residents at the same time.
