Best Pet friendly Hotels in Machico

I booked this hotel as part of our week long trip in Madeira due to its proximity to the airport. The location was perfect and the hotel was spotless with an amazing hot shower. The small town where the hotel is located has plenty of little cute bars and restuarants too. Big shout out to the guy who was working doing the Karaoke during our stay - he was providing top entertainment in multiple languages and I loved it!

Small friendly hotel ideally located in Machico just a few minutes from the beach. Rooms all had a balcony with sea view. Spacious and clean. Excellent breakfast serving bacon and eggs, selection of cold meats and cheeses. Choice of lovely bread and fruit together with excellent coffee. Staff were very friendly especially Shez who so helpful and gave us some excellent recommendations of places to visit. Would highly recommend this as an excellent base to explore the island.

What a fabulous place on the stunning island of Maderia. We are in the middle of a one week stay over Christmas 2024. This newly opened hotel has completely exceeded our expectations. It is a TRUE all inclusive - everything is included. Various a la carte restruants, top drinks and beautiful coffees. It’s like a small village by the sea with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The food is spot on. Speciality coffee all included, plus various pastries and snacks. Always ice cold water on tap and freshly made, delicious cookies to help yourself to. The food and beverage here is great, guided by the excellent food and beverage manager from Portugal who is very smartly dressed and always visible. We loved the Desire (sports bar/snack bar) by the marina which is also included in the all inclusive. Next door is a super ice cream shop, again - all included! Smail and Barbara we’re great - service with a smile. Great to watch the boats coming in and out. We haven’t spent a penny since being here (other than tips, which we have given generously due to the great service!) which is so refreshing. Just hired a car to explore the island which the reception helped to organise. Think Mexico luxury all inclusive with just a 3.5 hour flight from the UK! We are looking forward to coming back and can’t wait for the indoor pool and spa area to open. Good mixture of families and couples. Variety of ages. If we are being picky, small elements to improve: - add mirrors and more atmosphere to the excellent gym - few annoying flies in reception. Automatic fly catcher? If the above is all we can complain about then you know it is all good!!
